The Blackwater deposit has an indicated mineral resource of 230 million tonnes at an average grade of 0.96 grams gold/tonne containing 7.1 million ounces of gold. The deposit is estimated to be able to produce an annual average of 507,000 ounces of gold and 2,039,000 ounces of silver over a 15-year mine life. Construction of the mine is expected to begin in 2015. Mineralized structures (Good News Fault/East Fault) continue from the Key property onto the Blackwater property, the geology is continuous and Troymet's exploration has identified high quality targets that may represent Blackwater style precious metals mineralization. The goal of the drilling is to test if Blackwater style mineralization is present in the target areas. Independence Gold Corp.'s [IGO-TSXV] 3T property meets the Key property line at its southwest corner. More than a dozen individual mineralized veins, ranging up to 650 metres in strike length and up to 20 metres in true width, have been identified to date at the 3Ts Project. The Tommy, Ted and Mint veins combined contain a NI 43-101 compliant inferred resource estimated to be 3,614,072 tonnes grading 3.39 g/t gold and 85.15 g/t silver, at a cut-off grade of 1.0 g/t gold. Contained ounces are 394,383 ounces of gold and 9,894,835 ounces of silver. Troymet also has the 8,178-hectare Golden Eagle Project (gold-silver), in northwestern BC, just south of the Yukon border; the McClarty Lake (gold-silvercopper-zinc) property 47 km southwest of Snow Lake, Manitoba, a joint venture with HudBay Minerals Inc.
