Photo courtesy Victoria Gold Corp. tion with a three-stage crushing plant, in-valley heap leach and gold recovery plant. The mine has year-round road access with commercial grid power available approximately 45 km by road from the site and an airstrip suitable for commercial planes located 80 km south. During operations, the mine will employ 350-400 workers. All major permits for construction and operations have been received and the Environmental Assessment process has been completed. The company has a signed Comprehensive Cooperation and Benefits Agreement with the local Nacho Nyak Dun First Nation, within whose traditional territory the project is located. Plans call for a mining rate of 33,700 tonnes per day for 1.23 million tonnes per year at a strip ratio of 0.95:1 (waste:ore). At a gold price of US $1,250/ oz, the pre-tax Net Present Value (NPV) (5%) is calculated to be $766 million with an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 37.1%. After-tax NPV (5%) would be $508 million and an IRR of 29.5%. Meanwhile, exploration activities at nearby targets on the Dublin Gulch property are underway. The work is sup - ported by satellite camps that have been built to allow exploration to proceed without impacting construction of the Eagle Gold Mine. Two diamond drills will test the Olive-Shamrock, Bluto, Nugget and VBW targets. Mapping, prospecting, surface trenches, soils geochemistry and geophysical surveys will also be carried out. "While mine construction is Victoria's primary focus this year, the company does not intend to let the untapped mineral potential of the Dublin Gulch property remain untested," stated McConnell "The 2017 Dublin Gulch exploration program was highly successful. Through the drill-bit, the company was able to dem - onstrate that there is much more to the Eagle Gold Mine than captured in the 2016 Feasibility Report in terms of gold mineralization and potential for extra mine life. "Additionally, last season's work suc - cessfully advanced known areas of gold mineralization such as Olive-Shamrock as well as opened access, for the first time, to a series of new mineralization targets including Spinach, Bluto and Nugget. Any of these target areas have the potential to host another Eagle or Olive-Shamrock style deposit, and we look forward to demonstrating addi - tional, definable gold deposits across the highly prospective Dublin Gulch property in the coming years." n MINING Golden Predator drills 8.5 metres of 5 g/t gold at Brewery Creek GOLDEN PREDATOR MINING CORP. [GPY-TSXV; NTGSF-OTCQX] received assays from its 22-hole exploration and metallurgical drilling program at its 100%-owned, past-producing Brewery Creek Project, Yukon. Exploration drill - ing was designed to expand resources. Significant gold mineralization was encountered in eight of the nine exploration holes increasing known gold mineralization around five zones. Highlights include: • Lucky Zone: Hole BC 18-604 intersected 8.5 metres of 5.05 g/t gold from 29.00 m, including 4.0 m of 9.66 g/t gold from 33.0 m. • Schooner Zone: Hole BC 18-597 inter- sected 6.55 m of 3.03 g/t gold from 35.75 m and 39.20 m of 1.64 g/t gold from 52.90 m. • Lone Star Zone: Hole BC 18-605 inter- sected 6.0 m of 0.8 g/t gold from 50.0 m and 2 m of 21.0 g/t gold from 86.0 m. "We are very pleased with the suc- cess of the targeted exploration program which illustrates the untapped explora- tion potential of Brewery Creek," said Janet Lee-Sheriff, CEO. "To have hit min- eralization away from known holes in a number of different zones and extend the Sleeman Zone for more than 200 metres along strike establishes a foundation that expands our exploration program to addi - tional targets identified across this large claim block." The exploration drill program success- fully confirmed potential extension of mineralization including: • Follow-up drilling on a higher-grade zone from the Lucky pit through the Bohemian Zone where a number of 10.0 g/t gold or higher intervals aligned along an east-west trend; • Extension of the Sleeman Zone as sug - gested by geochemistry; • Up-dip, near-surface projections of the deeper Lone Star Zone mineralization. n
