[ERO-TSX] has reported on drill programs at its Pilar, Vermelhos and Surubim mineral districts, all part of its 99.6%-owned, producing Vale do Curaca property located in Bahia state, Brazil. Near-surface extensions of the recently announced Vermelhos East Zone were highlighted by the following drill holes: • FVS-311 intersected 27.4 metres grad - ing 8.39% copper, including 17.7 metres grading 10.76% copper from 81.2 metres downhole; • FVS-269 intersected 26.3 metres grad- ing 3.63% copper, including 15.7 metres grading 4.93% copper from 3.1 metres downhole; and • FVS-292 intersected 16.5 metres grad- ing 4.22% copper, including 9.0 metres grading 6.10% copper from 64.2 metres downhole. Within the Vermelhos Mine's main ore- bodies, drill results continue to expand known areas of high-grade mineraliza- tion in and around the mine's recently completed infrastructure. Results during the period are highlighted by holes FVS- 257 that intersected 38.2 metres grading 7.29% copper including 23.1 metres grading 11.16% copper and 10.1 metres grading 4.59% copper. To date, the Vermelhos East Zone has been delineated from surface to a depth of approximately 400 metres and remains open along strike and to depth. Further drill testing to determine continuity of the high-grade portions of the Vermelhos East Zone is a top priority of the compa - ny's continuing exploration efforts in the Vermelhos district. In addition, testwork is under way to quantify the significance of recent occur- rences of high-grade nickel and palladium within the main Vermelhos orebodies at depth and their relationship to the known copper mineral resources. During Q3 2018, production totaled 7,792 tonnes of copper. Marathon Gold Corp. [MOZ-TSX; MGDPF-OTC] has been encouraged by its continued success in predicting and inter - secting high-grade gold mineralization at open-pit depths in the southwestern part of the Marathon deposit at its 100%- owned, advanced stage Valentine Lake Gold Camp Project in west-central Newfoundland. Drill holes into the southwestern end of the Marathon deposit have intersected new zones of high-grade gold in areas of previous minimal drilling. Drill hole MA-18-343 intersected 17.39 g/t gold over 5.0 metres with 42.76 g/t gold over 2.0 metres. Hole MA-18-341 intersected 19.63 g/t gold over 3.0 metres with 56.04 g/t gold over 1.0 metre and hole MA-18-337 inter - sected 4.90 g/t gold over 13.0 metres with 24.49 g/t gold over 3.0 metres. The Valentine Lake Gold Camp currently hosts four near-surface, mainly pit-shell MINING
