The Promontorio silver resource is part of the Promontorio Mineral Belt optioned to Pan American Silver. The Promontorio Mineral Belt includes the La Negra high- grade silver project, located 7 km north of the Promontorio silver resource. Pan American Silver can earn 75% interest by spending US $16 million on expendi - tures and payments over four years with Kootenay retaining a 25% carried to pro- duction interest. McEwen Mining Inc. [MUX-TSX, NYSE] aims to qualify for inclusion in the S&P 500 Index by creating a prof- itable gold and silver producer with a focus on the Americas, including the US, Canada, Mexico and Argentina. It's key assets are the San Jose Mine in Santa Cruz, Argentina, the Black Fox Mine in Timmins, Ontario, the El Gallo Fenix Project in Mexico, the Gold Bar Mine in Nevada (currently under construction), and the Los Azules copper project in San Juan, Argentina. Robert McEwen, the Bay Street finan - cier who owns 24% of McEwen Mining, has said he hopes to see the company increase its production from around 170,000-185,000 ounces in 2018 to at least 220,000 ounces by 2020. Minera Alamos Inc. [MAI-TSXV] is an advanced-stage exploration and develop- ment company with a growing portfolio of Mexican assets, including the La Fortuna open pit gold project in Durango with a positive preliminary economic assessment (PEA) completed (permits awaiting issu - ance) and the Santana open pit heap-leach development project in Sonora with test mining and processing completed (per- mits pending). The company anticipates making a construction decision at Santana in 2019 and advancing both Santana and Fortuna into production in 2019-2020. M AG Silver Corp. [MAG-TSX; MVG- NYSE American] is a Canadian exploration and development company focused on becoming a top-tier primary silver min- ing company by exploring and advancing high-grade, district-scale, silver dominant projects in the Americas. Its key asset is the 44%-owned Juanicipio property in Fresnillo District, Zacatecas, which is being developed in partnership with Fresnillo Plc (56%). The partners are developing the underground infrastructure needed to support a 4,000 tonnes per day mining operation, producing 16.5 million ounces of silver over the first full six years of com - mercial production, and 9.6 million ounces over a projected mine life of 19 years. Mako Mining Corp. [MKO-TSXV] oper- ates the La Trinidad open-pit, heap leach gold mine in Sinaloa State. The company is also developing its San Albino gold proj- ect in Nuevo Segovia, Nicaragua. Mako aims to bring San Albino into production quickly while continuing exploration on prospective targets in Mexico and Nicaragua. Mako recently raised $4.5 mil - lion from a private placement comprised of 30 million shares priced at 15 cents each. Mammoth Resources Corp. [MTH- TSXV] recently signed an option deal with Centerra Gold Inc. [CG-TSX, CAGDF-OTC] giving Centerra the right to earn up to a 70% interest in Mammoth's Tenoriba precious metals property in the Sierra Madre precious metal belt, south - western Chihuahua, Mexico. To earn the interest, Centerra must spend US $9.0 million over seven years, but expenditure amounts can be accelerated, depending on exploration success. Tenoriba consists of 5,333 hectares in four concessions covering a high sulphi - dation mineralizing system. Potentially economical grades of gold with silver have been sampled in hundreds of chip samples, channel samples and in 18 of 26 diamond drill holes at various locations along 4-km of an identified 6-km east-west trend of ubiquitous gold-silver mineralization. Centerra geologists arrived in the field in late January and began a program to re- map and collect some additional samples taking into account features observed from MEXICO
