The latest Saddle North hole (TTD109) returned 0.62 g/t gold, 0.36% copper, 1.17 g/t silver (0.82% CuEq; 1.12 AuEq) over 1,149.70 metres from 11.33 to 1,161 metres. A 10,000-metre drill program is planned with the main focus on Saddle North. Newmont Goldcorp Corp. [NGT-TSX; NEM-NYSE] recently announced a $17.6 million private placement financing in GT Gold and, when completed, will own 9.9% of its outstanding shares. GT Gold also has the backing of major institutions and has planned a 2019 drilling program. Hawkeye Gold & Diamond Inc. [HAWK-TSXV; HGT-FSE] has a 100% interest in the 3,744-hectare Boomerang Project about 25 km northwest of the Copper Fox/Teck Schaft Creek Project. Boomerang Creek has highly anomalous gold values reported in stream geochemistry programs. Hawkeye's McBride and Todagin properties are contiguous with the northeast and southwest bor - ders of the Red Chris Mine property, respectively. Imperial Metals Corp. [III-TSX; IPMLF-OTC] sold a 70% joint venture interest in their Red Chris copper-gold mine to Australian gold miner Newcrest Mining Ltd. [NCM-ASX] for $806.5 million. Newcrest will operate the mine and control the surrounding claims. International Samuel Exploration Corp. [ISS-TSXV; ISSFF- OTC] has completed a maiden drill program on the Lucifer Zone on its 100%-owned LGM property. Trenching returned 31 metres of 1.1 g/t gold. Juggernaut Exploration Ltd. [JUGR-TSXV] made a drilling discovery of a new high-grade gold zone on its 100%-owned Midas property near Terrace. Hole MD-18-08 intersected 6.85 g/t gold over 9.0 metres. The company also reported first assays from exploratory drill - ing on the 100%-controlled Empire property. Hole EM-18-08, drilled perpendicular to strike, intersected 1.37 g/t gold and 0.51% copper (2.18 g/t AuEq) over 15.4 metres. It is estimated to be ~80% of true thickness and remains open to depth and along strike in both directions. These properties are a little outside of the Golden Triangle to the south-southeast. Kutcho Copper Corp. [KC-TSXV; KCCFF-OTC] has completed an independent updated mineral resource estimate to be used as the basis for its upcoming Feasibility Study on its 100%-owned Kutcho high-grade copper-zinc project 100 km east of Dease Lake. See details in Base Metals feature page 20. Metallis Resources Inc. [MTS-TSXV; MTLFF-OTCQB] has a 106 km 2 land package in the heart of the Golden Triangle that has a number of mineral prospects showing various styles of min- eralization, including copper/gold porphyries, VMS/shear vein gold and magmatic nickel/copper. Drilling late last year returned encouraging assays from the Cliff and Cole targets. Metallis is exploring the nickel potential of its Kirkham property. Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd. [MTB-TSXV; MBYMF- OTC] has planned a drill program for the newly named American Creek West Project, which consists of the MB silver property and the recently acquired Dorothy and Silver Crown properties. The 2,646-hectare project is 25 km north of Stewart. The company views the project as having district-scale potential to host gold/silver and base metal deposits similar in style and scale to neighbouring past-producing and current mines. Pretium Resources Inc. [PVG-TSX, NYSE] owns and operates the high-grade underground Brucejack gold mine in the southern Golden Triangle. See Pretium story page 50. Romios Gold Resources Inc. [RG-TSXV; RMIOF-OTC; D4R-FSE] optioned out a 100% interest in its Newmont Lake Project to Crystal Lake Mining Corp. The project has an existing NI 43-101 inferred resource for the Northwest Zone of 1.406 million tonnes, containing 200,000 oz. of gold, 6,790,000 lbs. copper and 291,000 oz. of silver. A NI 43-101 resource is being developed for high-grade surface miner - alization at the '72 Zone and Telena Zones (new discoveries in 2011), and the Ken Zone.Romios is also developing a NI 43-101 resource at the North Zone on its Trek property. Scottie Resources Corp. [SCOT-TSXV] is exploring its Scottie gold mine and neighbouring Bow properties. The Scottie gold mine, 32 km north of Stewart, is 27 km south
