Moosehead North and Moosehead South claim blocks cover ground contiguous and within the gold belt to the north and south of the Sokoman gold discovery. RJK said a Phase 1 exploration program on the Moosehead properties will include a first pass prospecting program to verify known showings and to attempt to identify addi - tional showings of interest. RJK also acquired the Rolling Pond claim block in the gold belt further south and contains a former Altius Minerals exploration target which it said is drill- ready. RJK has said a program of soil geochemistry and ground geophysical surveys will be implemented prior to the continuation of drilling in late spring. White Metal Resources Corp. [WHM- TSXV] shares rallied recently after the company released an initial due diligence report on grab sampling results from its recently optioned Little Joanna gold property in central Newfoundland. The property covers or 7,000 hectares and is 45 km northeast of Sokomon's Moosehead gold project, where the discovery hole recently returned 44.96 g/t gold over 11.90 metres from 109.00 to 120.90 metres. White Metal recently entered into an option agreement with Sokoman to acquire by option a 100% stake in the Startrek gold property, central Newfoundland. White Metal said 50 gold occurrences have been discovered on the property through previous trenching and grab samples. Previous operators, including Sokoman and Rubicon Minerals Corp. [RMX-TSX; RBYCF-OTC], have performed trenching and drilling, but many gold targets remain untested. Rambler Metals and Mining Plc. [RMM-AIM] has a 100% ownership of the Ming copper-gold mine, an operating base and precious metals processing facility and year-round bulk storage facility located on the Baie Verte peninsula, Newfoundland. Rambler's production is 1,250 tonnes/ day; however, the company aims to increase production to 2,000 tonnes/day. Along with the Ming Mine, it also owns 100% of the former producing Little MARITIMES
