MINI NG Mines Management advancing Montanore silver-copper project by Peter Caulfield Mines Management, Inc. [MGT-TSX; MGN-NYSE MKT] recently announced an update on its marquee Montanore silver-copper project in Montana, US. Mines Management president and CEO Glenn Dobbs said, Significant progress has been made on the permitting process for the Montanore Project over the past quarter, and while the timing is always a significant variable, there are very few steps remaining in the permitting process. The biological consultation and preparation of the biological opinion are underway. [When completed, they] are expected to be followed by the final environmental impact statement and record of decision...we are pleased that the environmental impact statement is being constructed to address the major environmental concerns raised by the public... when the process is complete, all major questions should have been addressed. In addition, the company is working with the US Army Corps of Engineers on the 404 permitting process. Mines Management is focused on advancing and developing the Montanore silver-copper deposit, which it says is one of the largest, undeveloped, silver-copper deposits in the world. The deposit is located in northwestern Montana, about 40 miles north of the Silver Valley of Idaho, in one of the worlds most prolific silver districts. Montanore is situated at the northern end of a trend, extending south to the Coeur dAlene silver district, which has produced more than 1 billion ounces of silver. A recent independent technical report confirmed the existence of a large silvercopper deposit containing approximately 116 million tons of material grading approximately 2.0 oz silver/ton and 0.74% 28 www.resourceworld.com Roof bolting, Montanore Silver Copper Project, Montana USA.
