Resource expansion drilling east of North Zone continued to intersect mineral- ization with intervals grading up to 2.9 g/t gold over 7.0 metres. QMX Gold Corp. [QMX-TSXV; QMXGF- OTCQX] is exploring its extensive property position in the Val d'Or mining camp. The company is currently drilling in the Val d'Or East portion of its land package. [CJC- TSXV; CJCFF-OTC; YXEN-FSE] reported that at its 100%-owned Sakami Project 80 km southeast of Radisson, exploration has expanded the size of the La Pointe deposit and drilled new near-surface gold discov - eries at the Simon-JR area, near La Pointe. Drilling highlights at La Pointe include hole PT-18-116 that returned 3.89 g/t gold over 14.9 metres, including 4.26 g/t gold over 11.9 m. The project hosts the formerly producing, high-grade O'Brien Mine that produced 587,121 ounces of gold. In March, the company drilled 6.13 g/t gold over 4.70 metres west (Zone F) of the O'Brien Project's current resource area. Radisson has retained Kenneth Williamson 3DGeo-Solution to complete an update of the current resource estimate. Renforth Resources Inc. [RFR-CSE] has a 100% option from Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. [GMX-TSX] on the Parbec property in Malartic Township.
