n investor chat rooms some are already
calling it "Chuck Fipke, the sequel".
Nearly 30 years after the Canadian
geologist discovered Canada's first com-
mercial diamond mine in the Northwest
Territories, the Ekati, another Fipke com-
pany – Cantex Mine Development Corp.
[CD-TSXV; CTXDF-OTC] – is attracting
attention to the Yukon.
Cantex says its goal is to define a world
class silver-lead-zinc deposit on its 100%-
owned North Rackla claim block, located
approximately 100 km northeast of Mayo
in central Yukon. Covering 14,077-hect
-
ares, the project is also situated to the
northeast of both Atac Resources Ltd.'s
[ATC-TSXV] Rackla gold property and
Victoria Gold Corp.'s [VIT-TSXV] new
Eagle gold mine.
In 2019, the company hopes to make a
significant step towards this goal by drill
testing almost 1 kilometre of strike length
on the massive sulphide zone to a depth
in places of up to 550 metres. "Should
we intersect mineralization similar to that
intersected last year, this will be a signifi

cant deposit," the company has said.
During a brief interview with Resource
World magazine, Cantex Chief Operating
Officer, Keiven Bauer, said it's still too early
