Exploration
and Mining
in Mexico
by Mike Kachanovsky
Mexico is the largest trading nation in Latin America,
and the domestic economy has been on a strong
growth curve for many years. Since the North
American Free Trade Agreement was enacted in
1994, Mexico has seen its trade with the United
States and Canada nearly triple. Mining activity has
been a big part of their economic success story and
the trend looks set to continue.
