The company has three advanced stage Canadian projects including its 100%-owned East Kemptville tin-indium project in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. In September, 2019, the company announced encouraging preliminary results from the ore-sorting test work at the proj- ect. Avalon is now planning a Feasibility Study incorporating those results and rec- ommendations into a development model. Canstar Resources Inc. [ROX-TSXV; CSRNF-OTCQB] is a zinc explorer with three projects in Newfoundland: the flag- ship Buchans-Mary March Project JV, the Daniel's Harbour Zinc project and the Katie Project. In March, 2019, Canstar announced results from its Phase I exploration program at the Mary March Joint Venture where Canstar is the operator and majority (56%) partner with Glencore (44%). Canstar plans to follow up with a ground based regional lithogeochemical program, map- ping and prospecting, coupled with core review and a structural re-interpretation, to refine future drill targets. Champion Iron Ltd. [CIA-TSX, ASX], owner of the Bloom Lake Mining Complex in Québec (through its subsidiary Québec Iron Ore Inc.), has the Powderhorn and Gullbridge projects in central Newfoundland. In early 2019 Champion reported "strong results" from a 9,350- metre drill program on the Powderhorn property. Galway Metals Ltd. [GWM-TSXV] has the Clarence Stream Project in an "emerging new gold district" in New Brunswick. In December, 2019 Galway reported intersect- ing 3.0 g/t gold over 12.0 metres in the 1-km Gap between Richard and Jubilee zones at Clarence Stream. Robert Hinchcliffe, President and CEO, said, "The results from this hole validates Galway's belief that the two Galway discoveries and the Jubilee Zone are part of the same system. We look forward to continuing to drill to expand the various zones at Clarence Stream and the gap areas between the George Murphy, Richard and Jubilee Zones." The drilling is part of the 2019 17,000-metre drill program. Great Atlantic Resources Corp. [GR-TSXV; PH0-FSE] has six projects in New Brunswick and four in Newfoundland.
