Inferred Resources are 960,000 oz (16.8 million tonnes at 1.78 g/t gold), a decrease of 570,000 ounces, or 37%, com- pared with the previous estimate. Maritime Resources Corp.'s [MAE- TSXV] key asset is the high-grade Hammerdown Mine, located near the Baie Verte mining district of Newfoundland. Maritime recently announced the start of a 3,000-metre diamond drilling program at Hammerdown to test high-priority tar- gets. The company's Whisker Valley gold project is 10 km north of Hammerdown. In August, 2019 Maritime reported the discovery of a new area of gold mineraliza- tion as a result of a regional prospecting program. Their Gull Pond Ridge property in the southern part of the Baie Verte Peninsula is an underexplored area pro- spective for base and precious metals. MegumaGold Corp.
