GroundTruth's programs are designed to capture a good amount of explo- ration data while leaving behind almost no environmental footprint, all on a conserva- tive budget. Called the Drones to Drills TM program, the team, their technology and their lightweight toolset are finding success in Yukon and Alaska. Isaac Fage, President and co-founder of GroundTruth Exploration Inc. spoke to Resource World Magazine to provide an update on the company's successes and plans for 2020. Asking Fage how business was in 2019, he said, "We were fortunate enough to undertake the busiest season we have had to date. In 2019, GroundTruth had ~100 direct employees working on projects in Canada and the US. That was a new move for GroundTruth last year," said Fage. He explained that GroundTruth's toolset is a unique package developed on the Yukon side of the Tintina Gold Belt saying, "Our tools translate very well for exploration and methodology needs in Alaska. It was a good move for us to move across the bor- der and work in the Tintina Gold Belt on the Alaska side. Exploration on our end does not stop at the border. We are pre- dicting we will see quite a busy season in the US, next year." GroundTruth's Drones to Drills TM program is modelled after the highly successful approach of its technical advi- sor, Shawn Ryan who stresses a highly disciplined, cost conscious approach to exploration. The Ground Truth model advocates includes C-horizon soil sam- pling; geophysical and aerial drone Surveys; GroundTruth's exclusive GT Probe; and the GT RAB (Rotary Air Blast) Drill. GroundTruth combines lightweight and efficient drilling with and real time data collection using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) for geochemistry and Optical Teleview (OTV) downhole imagery sur- veys for structure mapping. With these tools, GroundTruth can provide a full exploration program from soil anomaly to RAB drilling without the need to wait on drill results that might not come back for months. Fage said, "We are actually able to capitalize on an exploration opportunity in the moment with real time geochemistry and structural information."
