Groundhog is also located immediately north of the huge Pebble copper-gold proj- ect, being developed by Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd. [NDM-TSX; NAK-NYSE]. Renaissance Gold Inc. [REN-TSXV; RNSGF-OTCQB] is a Nevada-based gold- silver focused exploration company that emerged as a spin-out from the 2010 acquisition of AuEx Ventures Inc. by Fronteer Gold Inc. RenGold maintains a large portfolio of gold and silver explora- tion properties and has entered into over 70 exploration agreements over the past 16 years. The company recently said it will finish 2019 having completed drilling on five partner-funded projects. Silver Range Resources Ltd. [SNG- TSXV; SLRRF-OTC] has staked a new high-grade gold project located in the Bellehelen mining district, approximately 70 km east of Tonopah, Nevada. The prop- erty covers numerous historical workings, including the Ben Hur Mine. The prop- erty is 3 km southeast of Silver Range's Bellehelen property, which covers high- grade silver mineralization at the Ajax Mine. At Kawich, low-sulphidation, epith- ermal gold mineralization is exposed for up to 160 metres along strike and over widths of up to 1.2 metres in limited outcrop exposure. The company has 43 properties, 13 of which are optioned to others. Taseko Mines Ltd. [TKO-TSX; TGB- NYSE American] is a Vancouver-based company with a portfolio that includes the Gibraltar copper-molybdenum mine in BC, and the Florence in-situ copper project in Arizona. Gibraltar is expected to produce 130 million pounds of copper this year. US Gold Corp. [USAU-NASDAQ] is a United States-focused gold exploration and development company that is working to advance projects in Nevada and Wyoming. It recently acquired Orevada Metals Inc., which has an option to acquire a 70% inter- est in the Maggie Creek Project in Nevada. Uranium Energy Corp. [UEC-NYSE American; U6Z-FSE] sees itself as hav- ing an infrastructure advantage with its state-of-the art, fully licensed Hobson processing facility in south Texas. The company also holds 4 million lbs of per- mitted production in Texas and Wyoming, assets that could allow the company to ramp up production when the uranium price is right. Uranium Energy CEO Amir Adnani said the company prefers to leave its uranium resources in the ground and wait until prices are trading in the mid US $40/lb range. Viva Gold Corp. [VAU-TSXV; VAUCF- OTC] is a Nevada-focused exploration and development company. It is currently advancing its Tonopah gold project which contains over 250,000 ounces of pit- constrained measured and indicated gold resources.
