The Crocodile Tire is airless and con- sists of a steel ring welded to the outer periphery of a standard tire rim onto which tire rubber is bonded. The company states, "The Crocodile Tire uses two different rubber compounds in its construction: a resilient cushion compound and a tough, cut, tear and abrasion resistant tread compound. The cushion compound provides excellent ride cushioning characteristics and suffers minimal heat build-up during use which translates to enhanced tire life." Because Crocodile Tires uses standard tire rims there is no need to custom fit them to vehicles. The company states that Crocodile Tires provide a comfortable ride, greater machine productivity, and greater durability. The tire's tread life is four times longer than pneumatic tires in some applications. The tires are 100% recyclable. Automated Inventory Management Automated Inventory Management (AIM Inventory) creates vending solu- tions for mining companies needing to track and secure equipment such as tools, personal safety equipment, parts and supplies. AIM offers a variety of vending products that can be used to track smaller items like phones, tablets and gloves to larger items like power tools. The company states that, "Tool vending lockers from AIM can be customized for secure, automated access to high-value oversized equipment. They can be altered for each individual com- pany's use." The system also features a radio frequency identification (RFID) reader, which prevents unauthorized entry and has power-charging capabili- ties for laptops and iPads, or other chargeable equipment. The system comes with AutoCrib software that allows data entry using a touchscreen and mobile scanner, so all items taken from a stockroom can be tracked and recorded. Dust Solutions Dust Solutions Inc. (DSI) is a US company that manufactures dust suppression systems for a wide range of industries including mining and mineral processing. DSI's primary product is Dry Fog Agglomerative Dust Suppression Systems that use a special type of nozzle that produces a dry fog (water droplets are 10 microns or smaller) to remove airborne dust particles. DSI has provided Dry Fog™ systems for a variety of mining operations including coal, cop- per, gold, silver, nitrates amongst others offering systems that contain dust generated from conveyors, feeders, crushers, screening, loading and dumping. Dry Fog systems use very little water with nozzles rated in Gallons Per Hour, not minutes. The company states that their systems are easy to install, maintain and are configurable. DSI's states, "The overall capital investment, operating cost and system performance is superior to systems of ventilation, conventional water spray, and chemical injection".
