Goldcorp offers several focused training programs for its employees. For example, there is a two-year program for recent university graduates. "We bring in cohorts of graduates to our operations," Farrow said. "In 2013 there will be 25 in the group. They meet regularly as a team and also rotate to various locations throughout the company." Another program gives employees who are motivated and who have potential the opportunity to work in other parts of Goldcorp. "Here are just two examples," Farrow said.
