Rodinia's current focus is its Salar de Diablillos lithium brine project in Argentina. Stina Resources Ltd. [SQA-TSXV] holds the Bisoni McKay vanadium property in Nye County. At a 0.3% V2O5 cut-off, indicated resources in the north half comprise just over 8.07 million tons V2O5 mineralization. Also at a 0.3% V2O5 cut-off grade, inferred mineralization for both the north and south halves totals just over 5.49 million tons averaging 0.48%. Terraco Gold Corp. [TEN-TSXV] announced on April 22, that it had increased its royalty exposure on the Barrick-operated Spring Valley Project; it now has a net smelter return of up to 3%. [WLC-TSX] is advancing the Kings Valley lithium project in Humbolt County. On May 9, it announced that the US government had awarded the company a patent for its lithium extraction process. The invention relates to the separation of lithium and potassium compounds from lithium-containing materials, primarily ores such as hectorite and other lithiumrich clays. Concurrently, Western Lithium is seeking to mine and process its Kings Valley hectorite deposits to supply the oil and gas industry with hectorite-derived drilling additives. On April 2, the company reported that the US Bureau of Land Management had begun making preparations to start an environmental assessment.
