At Rook 1, a ground gravity survey has
been carried out and a resistivity survey
is planned. Other geophysical surveys are
planned for Rook 1, Bishop 1 and 2 and

Powertech Uranium Corp. [PWETSX] has uranium land holdings covering
over 60,000 acres in the Western US that
include the Dewey-Burdock uranium
deposit in South Dakota, the Centennial
Project in Colorado and the Dewey Terrace
and Aladdin projects in Wyoming. The
Centennial and Dewey-Burdock projects
are at an advanced stage.
Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. [PTUTSXV] has completed the winter exploration
program at the Hook Lake joint venture
project in the Athabasca Basin. The program focused on the Patterson Lake corridor
which is the same conductive trend along
which the Fission/Alpha joint venture has
intersected high-grade uranium mineralization. Purepoint has nine uranium projects in
the Athabasca Basin.
Skyharbour Resources Ltd. [SYHTSXV] is conducting an exploration program
at its Patterson Lake uranium prospects in
the western Athabasca Basin. The company
recently signed two option agreements for
its Athabasca property package wherein
Lucky Strike Resources Ltd. [LKY-TSXV]
and Noka Resources Inc. [NX-TSXV]
each have options to earn a 25% interest
into seven uranium properties. Skyharbour
has formed a joint venture syndicate with
Lucky Strike, Noka and Athabasca Nuclear
to explore the Patterson Lake area.
U3O8 Corp. [UWE-TSXV] has defined
NI 43-101 compliant uranium resources in
Colombia, Argentina and Guyana, including positive initial metallurgical results
from each of the projects. In Argentina, the
Laguna Salada Project is a near surface, freedigging uranium, vanadium deposit that is
potentially amenable to low-cost mining.
UEX Corp. [UEX-TSX] is involved in 17
uranium projects, either 100%-owned or
joint ventured, totaling 264,363 hectares
located in the eastern, western and northern perimeters of the Athabasca Basin. The
company reports that the updated uranium resource estimate for the four Shea
