San Juan Silver property in Colorado. High Desert Gold Corp. [HDG-TSXV; HDGCF-OTCQX] is advancing the Gold Springs gold-silver project that straddles the Nevada-Utah border. The company holds an 82% stake in the project, with Pilot Gold Inc. [PLG-TSX] holding the remainder. On June 5, High Desert Gold announced the completion of a 22-hole drill campaign and unveiled results for nine holes drilled at the Jumbo Trend. Highlights included hole J-13-006, which averaged 0.5 g/t gold and 22.6 g/t silver from 32-89.9 metres. I-Minerals Inc. [IMA-TSXV] is advancing its Helmer-Bovill Project in north-central Idaho. Effective December 18, probable mineral reserves include 2.24 million tons quartz sand, 897,000 tons K-feldspar sand, 709,000 tons of kaolinite clay and 147,000 tons of halloysite clay. In addition, I-Minerals is permitted to mine up to 50,000 tons per year feldspathic sand between June and October at the project's WBL Tailings site for a period of 10 years. Magna Resources Ltd. [MNA-CNSX] reported the completion by the US Bureau of Land Management of the Environmental Assessment conducted on the company's Green River Potash Project in the Paradox Basin, Utah. The proposed exploration plan calls for drilling four exploration holes on Federal lands in addition to four holes proposed on State leases. In conjunction, the objective of the program is to produce a NI 43-101 resource estimation underlying the northwest portion of the property as well as assist in the determination towards the potential economic and technical viability of the project. Marathon Gold Corp. [MOZ-TSX] wholly-owns the Bonanza gold project in Oregon and has a 50% stake in the Golden Chest gold project, with New Jersey Mining Co. [NJMC-OTCBB] holding the remainder. Total measured and indicated resources attributable to the company from Golden Chest currently amount to 121,300 ounces gold. Attributable inferred resources stand at 145,000 ounces gold. Mercator Minerals Ltd. [ML-TSX] operates the Mineral Park copper-molybdenum mine near Kingman, Arizona. In addition, the operation has 33 million tons of leach ore for 72 million lbs copper contained. Mineral Park produced 9.1 million lbs of copper in concentrates and copper cathode and 2.4 million lbs of molybdenum in concentrates in Q1 2013. Mesa Exploration Corp. [MSA-TSXV; MSAJF-OTCBB] is developing the Bounty potash project, western Utah. On March 12, the company reported the US Bureau of Land Management had completed a comprehensive mineral report on the project. The permitting process is now in the environmental analysis stage, with a review of an exploration plan underway. In addition, the company holds the Oatman gold project in western Arizona. Its 12-hole exploration plan for the property is also within the permitting process. Midas Gold Corp. [MAX-TSX] is advancing the Golden Meadows gold project near Stibnite, Idaho. The project has open-pit oxide and sulphide indicated resources of just over 78 million tonnes for 4.23 million ounces gold, 1.3 million ounces silver and 108,500 lbs antimony contained. On July 2, the company announced $9.8 million private placement by Teck Resources Ltd. [TCK.B-TSX; TCKNYSE], whereby Teck will obtain a 9.9% stake in Midas on closing the placement. Mines Management Inc. [MGT-TSX; MGN-NYSE Amex] wholly-owns the Montanore silver-copper project in southwest Montana. The project contains in-situ mineralization estimated at more than 230 million ounces silver and nearly 2 billion lbs copper. On June 3, the company reported progress relating to environmental regulatory processes, including work on the Final Environmental Impact Statement. Northern Vertex Mining Corp. On March 18, it announced an initial resource estimate; at a 1% copper cut-off, the property has 9.9 million tons indicated for 323 million lbs copper and 4.2 million ounces silver contained. Inferred, the property has 6.9 million tons for 217 million lbs copper and 2.8 million ounces silver contained. Orsa Ventures Corp. [ORN-TSXV] is focused on earning a 100% interest in Quartz Mountain and the adjacent Angel's Camp located in south Oregon. Quartz Mountain has an inferred resource of just over 110 million tonnes for almost 2.85 million ounces gold contained. Recent work includes completing a review of historic metallurgical test work at the property. Orsa has also relogged and assayed 5,000 metres of drill core from a 2004 campaign by previous operators. Orsa Ventures and Alamos Gold Inc. [AGI-TSX] have entered into a definitive agreement pursuant to which Alamos has agreed to acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Orsa by way of a court-approved plan of arrangement. Upon closing, Alamos will assume ownership of Orsa's right to earn a 100% interest in the Quartz Mountain property in Oregon as well as other assets in Oregon and Nevada. The Quartz Mountain property is located on the northern extension of the prolific Basin and Range province of Nevada. Otis Gold Corp. [OOO-TSXV] is focused on the Kilgore gold project in Clark County, Idaho. On January 17, the company unveiled results for its autumn 2012 drill campaign; highlights included hole 12 OKR-291, which returned 0.95 g/t gold from 45.7-128 metres, and hole 12 OKR-292 that intersected 1.04 g/t gold from 6.1-128 metres. On May 6, the company announced TSXV approval for Lateral Gold Corp. [LTG-TSXV] to earn 100% in its Oakley gold project, south Idaho, over a 7.5-year period. Premium Exploration Inc. [PEMTSXV] is advancing the Idaho gold project in north-central Idaho. On June 14, the company announced termination of an agreement that allowed Logan Resources Ltd. [LGR-TSXV] to acquire a 75% stake in the project. The decision was mutual.
