MINI NG Mineral Mountain exploring Homestake look-alike prospect by Ellsworth Dickson The famous past-producing Homestake gold mine in the Black Hills of western South Dakota was one of the richest and deepest gold mines in the western Hemisphere. Over a continuous 125 years, the mine produced over 36 million ounces of gold from 143 million tons. The ore mined at the Homestake Mine averaged 8.57 g/t gold (0.25 oz/ton). The down-plunge length of the orebody was 6.5 km long and reached down over 2,400 metres below the town of Lead. Mineral Mountain Resources Ltd. [MMV-TSXV; MNRLFOTCQX] has an option to earn a 75% interest in the Holy Terror Project along the Homestake gold belt in the Keystone Mining District of the Black Hills – about 35 miles from the Homestake Mine. Since acquiring the Holy Terror Project, the company has exceeded its first and second anniversary exploration expenditure commitment of US $4 million. Mineralization in the Keystone District is genetically similar to the Homestake area in that the gold is contained in quartz-carbonate veins in a banded carbonate iron formation and sulphide replacement deposits. 40 www.resourceworld.com Mineral Mountain's Holy Terror property hosts eight historical gold producers. The historic production from the Keystone Mining District was intermittent between 1896 and 1942 and totaled about 106,000 ounces from 298,865 tons of ore averaging 10.77 grams gold/tonne (0.314 oz/ton). Most of this production was derived from the Holy Terror and Keystone mines, which are part of the option agreement. The Holy Terror Mine produced approximately 62,000 ounces of gold. Production was halted due to the implementation of the War Measures Act during World War II. In 1940, the US Bureau of Mines estimated a potential resource for the Keystone District mines to be 1.53 million tons of ore grading 11.66 g/t gold (0.34 oz/ton) to a maximum depth of 366 metres (1,200 feet). While not a current NI 43-101 resource estimate, considering that the figures were prepared by the government, Mineral Mountain management believes the numbers to be reasonable. Several companies carried out exploration programs and between 1974 and 1996 with some 21,031 m (69,000 feet) being drilled. Exploration was halted due to low gold prices. Some of the better drill results included 10.04 g/t gold over 10.61 m, 10.22 g/t over 9.45 m, 3.91 g/t over 31.72 m and 11.94 g/t over 8.05 m. Since acquiring the Holy Terror Project in Q2 2012, Mineral Mountain has made considerable progress in confirming historical grades and discovering new areas of gold mineralization. The company's work programs included airborne geophysics, a LIDAR survey, sampling and diamond drilling. In addition to the Holy SEPTEMBER 2013
