mining Freegold Ventures building Alaskan gold resources Freegold Ventures Limited [FVL-TSX] continues to receive encouraging drill results from its road-accessible, Golden Summit Project 32 road km north of Fairbanks, Alaska. A 5,139-metre drill program was carried out in 2013. Freegold recently reported results of hole GSDL 1311 which intersected 180 metres grading 1.13 grams gold/tonne and averaged 0.82 grams/tonne over the entire 585.5 metres. Hole GSDL 1312 returned 552.6 metres of 0.68 grams gold/tonne and included 27 metres of 3.0 g/t Au. A total of 13 holes were completed this year and 74 holes in 2012. The Dolphin and Cleary Zones, which represent one large gold mineralized zone, have been the subject of previous drilling campaigns. Since 2011, indicated resources in the Dolphin/Cleary area have increased by 867% while inferred resources have increased by 820%. Using 0.3 grams gold/tonne as a possible open pit cut-off, NI 43-101 compliant indicated resources are pegged at 79,800,000 tonnes averaging 0.66 grams gold/tonne, for 1,683,000 oz, and inferred resources of 248,060,000 tonnes averaging 0.61 grams/tonne, for 4,841,000 oz. Gold mineralization, which conveniently starts at surface and remains open to expansion in all directions. In addition to drilling at Golden Summit, Freegold also carried out ground geophysics and a LIDAR survey. A comprehensive metallurgical testing program is under way with results expected shortly. Upon receipt of the test results, the company plans to conduct a Preliminary Economic Assessment of the project, anticipated to be in Q1 or Q2 2014. Metallurgy will focus on the development of Golden Summit initially as a heap leach operation progressing to an eventual milling operation. Kinross Gold's Fort Knox Mine, 8 km south of Golden Summit, commenced operations in 1996 as a CIL mill and began heap leaching in late 2009. With a current reserve grade of 0.47g/t Au, Fort Knox is expected to produce over 400,000 oz in 2013 with 170,000 oz from the heap leach. Cost of sales for Fort Knox in 2012 was $663/oz With 80 known gold occurrences over a 10-km strike length, Kristina Walcott, President and CEO, is expecting that more zones of gold mineralization will be delineated. Both exploration and mining, including heap leaching, can be carried out year round in this region of central Alaska. In addition to the paved Steese Highway running beside the project, there is also electricity, water, infrastructure and an experienced labour force nearby. While the company's focus is on Golden Summit, it also holds the Vinasale gold project in south-central Alaska where there are NI 43-101 compliant indicated resources of 3,410,000 tonnes grading 1.48 grams gold/tonne, for 162,000 ounces, and inferred resources of 53,250,000 tonnes grading 1.05 grams gold/tonne, for 1,799,000 oz, at a 0.50 grams/tonne cut-off. The project is an option to lease agreement with Doyon Limited, an Alaska Native Corporation. n Log on to the World's Largest Virtual Event for Precious Metals, Natural Resources, Energy, & MLP Investors ® Presents November 18-20, 2013 Watch 40+ "LIVE" Interactive Presentations by the World's Smartest Investors Invited and Confirmed Speakers Include… Dennis Gartman Keith Schaefer a Production of Brien Lundin Ian McAvity Media Partner Peter Schiff Easy & Free to "Log On" Expert Guidance Browse the Virtual Hall Enter Daily to Win Thousands of Dollars' Worth of Prizes… Mary Anne Aden Pamela Aden Rick Rule Wayne Allyn Root Register FREE to Attend www.eMoneyShow.com Mention Priority Code 033644 To Exhibit: Call 800/822-1134 november 2013 www.resourceworld.com 45
