For the mid-term and long-term, Saxton thinks there will be a strong demand for gold. "Gold is the standard that people still turn to," he noted. "I think it's going to continue that way accompanied by rising prices." "On the gold supply side, I believe there will not be as much supply going forward," said Saxton. "Not so much is the shortterm, but yes, in the long-term – and this will be reflected in higher gold prices." Saxton is of the view that now is par- ticularly a great time to buy gold mining stocks and select juniors. "If they are not at the bottom, they are certainly close to it. The upside is significant. I think that the buying of gold coins and bars will continue, especially in Asian countries.
