Work to date includes an airborne gravity survey with coincident magnetic and or electromagnetic anomalies that have identified 37 anomalies that could be kimberlites. Those anomalies that lie directly up-ice of indicator minerals are being prioritized based on anomaly and geochemical quality for follow-up exploration. The company's geochemical data base is based on extensive glacial till sampling between 2004 and 2010 and exhibit compositions that are typical of minerals found within diamond-bearing kimberlites. North Arrow Minerals and Dominion Diamonds completed a two-phase overburden drilling program intended to test the basal tills on claims owned by North Arrow and optioned to Dominion located 10 km south of the Diavik diamond mines. A total of 757 overburden holes were drilled over a 3 km by 1 km grid that lies along the southern extension of a trend line defined by the Diavik Mine kimberlites. Over 1,309 geochemical samples were taken for indicator mineral analyses that are expected to define prioritized drill targets in 2014. A number of other junior explorers have diamond prospects in the NWT which are currently on a care and maintenance status. One of the more advanced projects is the Peregrine Diamonds Ltd. [PGD-TSX] DO-27 kimberlite that is located on its 72%owned WO Project, 27 km from the Diavik diamond mine. The property hosts a NI 43-101 compliant resource of 18.2 million carats in 19.5 million tonnes grading 0.94 carats per tonne. n KEDSEY Consulting Inc. your technology partner C M Y KEDSEY FOCUSES ON TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT CM MY CY CMY K Our passion for technology keeps us on top of the latest trends and the best solutions for your specific business needs – so you can stay focused on your passion.
