Drill results in the Oban breccia zone returned 95.08 me- tres of 904 g/t silver equivalent and surface samples of 6,149 g/t silver. Canasil Resources Inc. [CLZ-TSXV; 3CC-FSE] has been drilling the Brenda gold- copper project in the Kemess-Toodoggone camp, north-central BC. The best intercept in hole BR-13-01 returned 0.376 g/t gold and 0.0735% copper over 68 metres. In northwest BC, Colorado Resources Ltd. [CXO-TSXV] is following up on an ex - cellent drill intersection on its North ROK Project 15 km northwest of the Imperial Met- als Red Chris Mine. Hole NR13-001 returned 0.51% copper and 0.67 g/t gold from 2-335 metres, the first 242 metres graded 0.63% copper and 0.85 g/t gold. Other holes have also returned encouraging values. A January 2014 NI 43-101 compliant inferred resource estimate stated there are 142.3 million tonnes grading 0.22% copper and 0.22 g/t gold, for a copper equivalent of 0.44%. Chieftain Metals Corp. [CFB-TSX] has been arranging independent environmen - tal studies at its past-producing, Tusequah Chief, underground development project 100 km south of Atlin. Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. [EPL-TSXV] uses the project generator business strategy and has over 40 prospects in Western Canada that include base and precious metals, rare earths, uranium and industrial minerals. Drilling is planned for this field season on the Findlay, Boundary and Idaho projects. Fortune Minerals Ltd. [FT-TSX; FTMDF- OTCQX] has completed a positive feasibility study of its Arctos metallurgical anthracite coal project 330 km northeast of the Port of Prince Rupert. The project is held 80% by Fortune and 20% by South Korea's POSCO. Some $110 million has been spent on re - source delineation, environmental and feasi- bility studies, pilot plants and trial cargoes to customers in North America, Asia and Europe. Measured and indicated resources are 231 million tonnes, good for 25 years of production. Gold Reach Resources Ltd. [GRV-TSXV] MINING has been drilling its 100%-owned Ootsa property south of Smithers, adjacent to the Huckleberry Mine. Contained metals at a 0.2% copper equivalent cut-off total pit- constrained metals of 1.25 billion lbs copper equivalent in the measured and indicated categories plus 1.66 billion lbs copper equiv - alent in the inferred category. Happy Creek Minerals Ltd. [HPY- TSXV] released final drill results from the 2013 drilling on its 100%-owned Fox tung- sten property in the south-central Cariboo region. Highlights from the RC Zone in- clude hole F13-19 that returned 26.25 me- tres of 1.19% tungsten trioxide (WO 3 ), in- cluding 3.66 metres of 4.60% WO 3 , 0.62% zinc, 1.25 g/t silver, 0.05 g/t gold and 3.3 g/t indium. More exploration is planned. Highbank Resources Ltd. Permitting is underway to drill a large positive gravity anomaly that may repre - sent bedded massive sulphides. Santa Fe Metals Corp. [SFM-TSXV] has planned a drill program to test prospective gravity anomalies on its Sully Project lo- cated about 22 km northeast of Cranbrook, southeast BC. The property hosts a similar geological environment as the huge Sul- livan SEDEX deposit about 20 km to the west. Spanish Mountain Gold Ltd. [SPA- TSXV] has received encouraging drill re- sults from the Main Zone of its Spanish Mountain gold project in central BC. Drill hole 13SMRC-1195 returned 141.73 metres grading 1.07 g/t gold. n
