recoveries are usually slow and often frustrating. For many, particularly those in the junior
sector, the current situation remains one of survival. however, the number of opportunities
is starting to grow as the weight of bear market conditions slowly lifts. this is particularly
the case for companies with interests in copper, nickel, zinc and molybdenum. these met-
als primarily serve industrial purposes and so their fortunes are more entwined with the
wider macro-economic outlook, most notably that of china, the primary consumer for so
much of the world's mineral and metal wealth.
