The company also holds the Magpie titanium-iron project and the Appalachians gold-base metals group of properties. Focus Graphite Inc. [FMS-TSXV; FCSMF-OTCQX; FKC-FSE] and Grafoid Inc. have opened the Kingston, Ontario pro- duction facilities. The 225,000-square-foot Innovation Park technology centre is the new home to Grafoid's MesoGraf research and development laboratories, production facilities, graphene material testing, and engineering and product development. Focus has also completed a positive fea- sibility study on its Lac Knife crystalline graphite project in the Côte Nord region. See Resource World Volume 12, Issue 5, P.34 for details. Geomega Resources Inc. [GMA-TSXV] has the Montviel rare earths-niobium project and the Anik gold project 40 km south of Chapais where three grab samples returned 3.3 to 10.3 g/t gold. The company has carried out successful bench-scale tests to separate various rare earth elements. Diamond drilling has delivered encourag- ing rare earth values at Montviel. Gespeg Copper Resources Inc. [GCR- TSXV] recently acquired a 100% interest in 52 claims on the Gaspé Peninsula known as the Port Daniel property. In consider- ation, the company will pay $3,000, issue 2 million shares in stages over a four-year period and conduct exploration work totaling $1,825,000 by January 1, 2018. Gespeg has raised funds to explore its other Gaspé prospects – the Vortex cop- per-moly-gold property and the R-Jean Project. Glencore plc [GLEN-LSE] owns and operates the four Raglan underground nickel-copper mines in the Ungava region of far northern Québec. The company com- menced operations at the Bracemac-McLeod zinc-copper mine near Matagami in 2013. Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. [GMX-TSX; GLBXF-OTCQX; G1M-FSE] has some 110 gold, base metal and specialty metal properties, many of them in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt of Québec. In June the company added Agnico-Eagle Mines and Yamana Gold as exploration partners to the Wood Pandora gold project 50 km east of Rouyn-Noranda. Globex has a 50% interest and is project manager. Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. retains a 2% NSR. A rock sampling program is under way. Globex has acquired a 100% interest in the Santa Anna gold deposit near the town of La Sarre which hosts a non-43-101 com- pliant historical resource of 122,098 oz. Goldcorp Inc.
