IAMGOLD Corp. [IMG-TSX; IAG- NYSE] and optionor TomaGold Corp. [LOT-TSXV] reports that drilling on the Monster Lake prospect 50 km southwest of Chibougamau has returned 2.12 metres grading 2.30 g/t gold from 422.50 metres depth and 5.86 metres of 2.62 g/t gold from 426.10 metres depth (including 2.21 metres of 6.21 g/t gold from 426.94 metres) in hole ML-14-115 (325-Megane Zone). IAMGOLD can earn a 50% interest. Integra Gold Corp. [ICG-TSXV] has signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire the Sigma-Lamaque 2,200 tpd mill- ing facility and mines, adjacent to Integra's Lamaque Project (Lamaque South), in Val d'Or. The property is being acquired from Samson Belair/Deloitte & Touche Inc. that is acting as court-appointed receiver of the assets of Century Mining Corp. The aggregate purchase price is $7.55 million. Integra released final results from its 2014 Triangle Zone definition and extension drill program (25,040 metres/65 holes) at the Lamaque South gold project that included 2.0 metres of 22.02 g/t gold. Lomiko Metals Inc. [LMR-TSXV; LMRMF-OTC; DH8B-FSE] has been explor- ing the 100%-owned, road-accessible, Quatre Milles graphite prospect located approximately 175 km northwest of Montreal and 17 km due north of the vil- lage of Sainte-Veronique. Geophysical surveys were carried out in July. Earlier drilling returned 70.00 metres of 2.17% Cg, including 12.50 metres of 4.58% Cg as well as 42.92 metres of 2.47% Cg, including 5.46 metres of 8.02% Cg. In recent work, 43 grab samples and 39 channel samples were taken along the mineralized zone that showed vis- ible crystalline flake graphite. Lomiko recently optioned a 40% interest in the La Loutre crystalline flake graphite property 117 km northwest of Montreal from Canada Strategic Metals Inc. [CJC- TSXV]. One area of the property returned grab samples up to 22.04% carbon flake graphite and carbon purity test results reporting up to 100.00% carbon purity in the large and extra large flake graphite. Matamec Explorations Inc. [MAT- TSXV] is advancing the Kipawa heavy rare earth elements (HREE) deposit with the goal of supplying Toyota with HREEs for the production of hybrid and electric cars. Kipawa has a positive feasibility study. The company is also exploring for lithium and tantalum on its Tansim property and for precious and base metals on its Sakami, Valmont and Vulcain properties. MDN Inc. [MDN-TSX] recently began an exploration program on its 100%- owned Samaqua niobium-tantalum prospect north of Girardville in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region next to the niobium and tantalum Crevier Project owned 72.5% by MDN and 27.5% by Niobec Inc., a subsidiary of Iamgold Inc. Metanor Resources Inc. [MTO-TSXV] is a new gold producer located 225 km northeast of Val d'Or. Its flagship Bachelor complex reached commercial production December 1, 2013 and has produced over 50,157 oz gold over the last 12 months. Four drills are active underground and have completed over 5,500 metres of drill- ing per month in the last four months. Mineralization at the B vein has been expanded above level 10 by intersecting 22.75 g/t gold over 2.3 metres. Midland Exploration Ltd.
