Adamera Minerals
drilling gold horizon
at oversight
After intersecting a gold-bearing horizon
on its 100%-owned Oversight property
in northeast Washington State, Adamera
Minerals Corp. [ADZ-TSXV] ran a spon-
taneous potential (SP) and gradient array
survey to target gold-bearing massive
sulphide units associated with magnetite.
While testing a magnetic anomaly, drilling
intersected a 6.8-metre zone of predomi-
nately magnetite with a 0.3-metre zone of
massive sulphides grading 2.5 g/t gold.
"This drill hole is significant. We
have confirmed our conceptual target
by identifying a gold mineralized zone
believed to be an extension of the adja-
cent Overlook Mine. Identifying a new
zone of gold-bearing massive sulphides
with no surface exposure significantly
advances the Oversight property and
clearly demonstrates the exploration
capabilities of Adamera,"
says Mark
Kolebaba, President of Adamera Minerals.
Commenting on the geophysical fol-
low-up, Kolebaba said, "This survey has
identified a series of targets that are inter-
preted to be sulfide zones with significant
strike and width. We are excited by the
potential on Oversight because this type of
mineralized horizon has been discovered
historically in three locations in the area
and all occurrences have been mined."
As of September 9, Adamera had
drilled nine holes in the current program.
The Overlook deposit, located approxi-
mately 600 metres west of Oversight,
reportedly contained 425,000 ounces of
gold averaging 5g/t in massive sulphide
portions of the magnetite/sulfide horizon.
The Oversight property straddles a
haul road used to transport gold ore from
the Overlook, Key East and Key West
mines to the mill owned by Kinross Gold.
The mill processes ore from the Buckhorn
Mine nearly 70 km distant. The Oversight
property is about 5 km from the mill.
