There are several good news stories coming from Yukon's
mining sector where exploration and development pro-
grams continue to progress despite stubbornly depressed
commodity prices, shrinking exploration budgets and
gun shy investors. The Yukon's mining industry, like
many other mining regions, has been toughing out rough
markets and focusing on preparing the ground for bet-
ter times. Several advanced staged projects continue
to advance towards project development in the under-
explored and mineral-rich Yukon.
