In November of that year, they announced the highest-grade intercept in more than 1,300 holes drilled to that point at the Kinsley Mountain Project – 8.53 g/t gold over 36.6 metres, including 29.43 g/t gold over 7.6 metres in hole PK091CA. The hole contained similar high-grade collapsed breccia zones seen at Long Canyon. In 2014, Pilot Gold built on its explo- ration success to date and has begun to address the district-scale potential at Kinsley. A budget of $6.04 million and 25,600 metres of drilling for the year deliv- ered results at the Western Flank Zone such as 6.85 g/t over 41.7 metres in PK127C; 10.5 g/t over 42.7 metres in hole PK131C; 7.53 g/t over 53.3 metres in PK132C; 5.59 g/t over 38.1 metres in PK158C. Drilling is on-going while metal- lurgical studies are underway with former Newmont Mining metallurgist, Gary Simmons. As a result of an amended Plan of Operations, new roads and pads are being planned for Kinsley North, an area of strong geochemical signatures similar to Long Canyon. According to company spokesman Patrick Reid, he expects a simi- lar work commitment for 2015. n The above article was written by Barry Muir who is a registered Investment Adviser with Haywood Securities Inc. a Canadian based independent, full‐service investment firm and member of the Canadian Investor Protection Fund.
