The 2014 drilling demonstrated the continuity of mineralization between the two areas of mineralization referred to as the East and West zones. Further explora- tion is planned. KOOTENAY SILVER INC. [KTN-TSXV] While Kootenay Silver Inc. has defined 92 million measured and indicated ounces of silver equivalent, plus 24 million ounces inferred, at its past-producing, flagship Promontorio Project in Sonora, Mexico, the company has also made a new discov- ery at the La Negro property 6.5 km north of Promontorio. In spring 2014, Kootenay Silver carried out a trenching and chip sampling program at La Negra. Assays returned consistent grades of widespread silver mineraliza- tion over an area 100 to 200 metres by 500 metres. This led to a drill program in fall 2014. The first seven holes of the Phase I program intercepted substantial grades of silver mineralization. Highlights from the drilling La Negra include 1,337.66 g/t silver over 6 metres, 420.34 g/t over 50 metres, 467.77 g/t over 18 metres. These are only a few of many excellent assays. A total of 25 holes for 3,173 metres of drilling have been com- pleted along a 400-metre strike length. Silver mineralization is exposed at surface and is shown to extend to a vertical depth of at least 190 metres. Drilling has confirmed high-grade, near surface, silver mineralization that would be amenable to a low cost open pit min- ing operation. A follow-up drill program is under way and a resource calculation is planned in mid 2015. Kootenay Silver has two more discover- ies on the Nechako Plateau, central British Columbia. Exploration over the past two work seasons discovered two new pre- cious metal mineral systems called the Fox and Two Times Fred. At the Fox property, there are gold and silver values in surface grab samples up to 32 g/t gold and 6,049 g/t silver. At the Two Times Fred property, composite grab samples averaged 0.388 grams gold/tonne with all samples averag- ing 0.318 g/t gold. n
