Probable reserves stand at 8.38 million tonnes for an average grade of 29.68 carats per hundred tonnes. The company aims to bring Lerala back on stream between April and June 2015 and achieve a production rate of 357,000 car- ats per year over an estimated seven years mine life. The company also has an earn-in agreement with Tilwane Services (Pty) Ltd. through which Kimberley will undertake exploration at two of Tilwane's prospect- ing licences. lucara Diamond corp. [LUC-TSX, OMX-Sweden, Botswana] operates the Karowe open-pit mine in the Orapa region through a 100% interest in Boteti Mining (Pty) Ltd. The mine plan was based on probable reserves of 33.1 million tonnes for 5.1 million carats contained. Lucara reported a strong Q3 performance with over 1 million carats recovered. In December, the company estimated dia- mond revenue for full-year 2015 will stand between $230 million and $240 million, with between 2.3 million tonnes and 2.5 million tonnes ore mined. The company was awarded two precious stone prospect- ing licenses in Q3, both located near the Karowe operation and Lucara will start programs on the two prospecting licenses in 2015. Meanwhile, the cash balance for end-Q3 stood at $133.1 million compared with $33.6 million at end-Q3 2013. Pangolin Diamonds corp. [PAN- TSXV; KGHZD-OTC] is an exploration company with four projects in Botswana: Jwaneng South, Malatswae, Mmadinare and Tsabong North. On November 7, the company unveiled positive in-fill sur- face sampling results from Malatswae. On December 9, it announced recent drill holes MSC-001 and MSC-002A at the project had not intersected kimberlite. The information obtained will assist in drill targeting for early 2015. Other sam- pling work at the project continues. On September 25, the company reported the results of diamond recovery analysis for drill hole Magi008 that was undertaken at Tsabong North's Magi target; a core sample from 110.70-112.54 metres contained four diamonds. Petra Diamonds Botswana ltd. [PDL- LSE] has several operations in Africa, with exploration activities focussed on Botswana. In fiscal-year 2014 (FY 2014), the company decided to reduce the size of its Botswana land package to almost 11,400 km 2 , down from just over 21,520 km 2 . Exploratory work is centred on the KX36 discovery, with a program in FY 2014 that included narrow diameter drilling to improve pipe delineation and to provide additional geological and geotechnical information. The company also announced an exploration co-operation agreement with Manica Minerals Ltd. in FY 2014.
