Highlights include 39.1 g/t gold over 2.9 metres, including 52.4 g/t gold over 0.7 metres in hole PG15-031. Harte Gold Corp. [HRT-TSX; H40- FSE] recently discovered a new gold zone – the Footwall Zone – at its 100%-owned Sugar Zone property northeast of White River, Ontario. Hemlo-style mineralization was also discovered at the Contact Zone. Follow-up drilling is under way. The prop- erty hosts 302,000 oz indicated and 95,000 oz inferred. Midland Exploration Inc. [MD-TSXV] is an unusual junior in that it has signed farm-out agreements on its projects with four major companies and/or orga- nizations; namely Teck Resources Ltd. [TCK.B-TSX; TCK-NYSE], Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd. [AEM-TSX, NYSE], Québec government-funded SOQUEM Inc. and Japan Oil, Gas and Metals National Corp. (JOGMEC). In fact, Midland has some 10 J/V agreements with various companies. Located in the Abitibi region of Québec about 40 km east of the Detour Lake gold deposit (23.3 M oz M&I), SOQUEM can earn a 50% interest in the Casault (and nearby Jouvex) properties by spending $4.5 mil- lion on exploration. A 2012 drill result returned 10.4 g/t gold over 1.45 metres open in all directions. What is interest- ing is that the Casault property is virtually surrounded by large gold deposits or pro- ducing gold mines, including the extension of the Balmoral Martiniere and Bug Lake gold zones. Thirty km northeast of Rouyn- Noranda, Teck can earn a 65% interest in the Patris Project where grab samples graded up to 15.5 g/t gold and channel sampling returned 4.73 g/t gold over 0.40 metres. Midway between Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or, Agnico Eagle has a 51% interest (Midland 49%) in the Maritime- Cadillac property where drilling the Dyke West Zone returned 8.6 g/t gold over 5.5 metres. Midland is also in a J/V with JOGMEC on the Ytterby rare earth proj- ect near the Strange Lake REE deposit.
