Pyrophyllite is an industrial mineral with
many applications. Globex also expanded
its Turner Falls rare earths property near
Kipawa where there have been encourag-
ing TREO values as well as tantalum and
niobium.
iAMGold Corp. [IMG-TSX; IAG-NYSE]
has been exploring the tomagold Corp.
[LOT-TSXV] Monster Lake property 50
km southwest of Chibougamau to earn
a 50% interest. The company reported
assays from the 2015 winter diamond
drilling program completed in April and
totaling 7,782 metres from 21 drill holes.
Highlights from the 325 – Megane Zone
and Monster Lake Shear Zone include hole
ML15-134 with 1.46 metres grading 18.80
g/t gold; hole ML15-135 with 1.39 metres
of 7.25 g/t gold; hole ML15-147 with 3.41
metres of 4.51 g/t gold and 10.72 metres of
3.64 g/t gold that includes 2.08 metres of
9.04 g/t gold.
integra Gold Corp. [ICG-TSXV; ICGQF-
OTCQX] has received the Certificate of
Authorization for underground decline
development work at the Triangle Zone
on its Lamaque South property near Val
d'Or. The project hosts indicated 811,010
oz gold at 9.5 g/t and 276,000 oz gold at
10.9 g/t inferred. NPV is $184.3 million
pre-tax and a 77% pre-tax IRR for a 2,220
tpd mine.
Intergra is also offering a $1 million
prize in its Gold Rush Challenge contest
to anyone that can figure out where a
gold discovery can be made at its adjacent
Sigma-Lamaque property. Online prospec-
tors will analyze and interpret the data to
come up with a plan on where they think
Integra has the best chance of making a
major gold discovery. Further details on
what specific types of submissions the
company is looking for will be announced
in the coming months, prior to the data-
base being made public in September.
