Rodinia will retain a 2.0% NSR royalty while Aberdeen can buy half the royalty for $2,000,000 within two years. The brine project covers over 95% of the Salar de Diablillos. In December 2011, a PEA by SRK Consulting (US) outlined an operation producing 15,000 tonnes lithium carbon- ate per year and some 51,000 tonnes of potash per year, projecting a 34% IRR pre- tax and a US $561 million pre-tax NPV at an 8% discount rate. fmC Corp. [FMC-NYSE] mines and pro- cesses lithium in Argentina. Production facilities include selective absorption and lithium carbonate plants at Salar del Hombre Muerton in the Argentine Andes and a lithium chloride plant in Guemes City, Salta Province. Goldcorp inc. [G-TSX; GG-NYSE] has interests in two mines in Argentina. It has a 37.5% interest (Glencore 50%/Yamana 12.5%) in the Alumbrera gold-copper mine in northwest Argentina, one of the world's largest and lowest-cost opera- tions. Production for 2015 is expected to be between 75,000 and 85,000 ounces of gold. Goldcorp also has a 100% interest in the Cerro Negro gold-silver mine in south- ern Argentina which achieved commercial production on January 1, 2015. Gold pro- duction for 2015 is expected to be between 425,000 and 475,000 oz. hunt mining Corp. [HMX-TSXV] has completed exploration programs, includ- ing 64,000 metres of core drilling, 416 line-km of geophysical surveys and more than 20,000 surface soil, sediment, channel, chip, and trench samples on its Argentine properties. The company recently raised $500,000 via private placement. marifil mines Ltd. [MFM-TSXV] has several prospects in Argentina. Three companies have signed confidentiality agreements to evaluate the San Roque Project. The company hopes to sign a joint venture agreement. Marifil has re-optioned the Arroyo Verde property, which con- tains both an epithermal gold target and a porphyry copper target. Arroyo Verde has significant inferred gold-silver resources. An engineering study is being done on the Las Aguilas copper-gold-PGM Project. mcewen mining inc. [MUX-TSX, NYSE] has a 49% interest (Hochschild plc 51% – operator) in the producing San José silver-gold mine in Santa Cruz Province near Goldcorp's Cerro Negro Mine. Attributable production from San José in Q3 was 12,201 oz gold and 872,273 oz silver, or 23,832 gold equivalent ounces. Full year guidance for San José remains at 46,500 gold ounces and 3.1 million silver ounces, or 88,000 gold equivalent ounces. The company is also exploring ground near the mine. McEwen has a 100% interest in the advanced-stage Los Azules porphyry cop- per project in San Juan Province. Indicated resources are 5.4 billion lbs copper with 14.3 billion lbs copper inferred. Indicated gold resources are 840,000 oz and 2.58 mil- lion oz inferred. Indicated silver resources are 22.9 million oz and 85.8 million oz inferred. minsud resources Corp. [MSR-TSXV] is conducting a 22-hole, 5,300-metre drill- ing program at its Chita Valley Project, San Juan Province. The objective is to continue to outline porphyry-style copper-gold- silver molybdenum mineralization with associated gold and silver-bearing poly- metallic veins. The company also holds a number of other early-stage prospects nGex resources inc. [NGQ-TSX] is conducting a PEA on the Josemaria por- phyry copper-gold deposit in San Juan Province, a joint venture with Japan oil Gas & metals national Corp. (JOGMEC), which owns 40%.
