[AAB-TSX] holds the Diablillos lithium-potash brine project that covers over 95% of the Salar de Diablillos in Salta, Argentina totaling 8,156 hectares. To date, over $19 million has been spent on the project, including exploration and drilling, pump tests, seismic and gravity geo- physical surveys, basin and solute transport models; all of which collectively account for the bulk of work towards an updated pre- feasibility or feasibility study on the project which is still to be completed. Cypress Development Corp. [CYP-TSXV; CYDVF-OTC] is acquiring a 100% interest in the 1,280-acre Clayton Valley Lithium Brine Project, Esmeralda County, halfway between Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada. The project is located on the south flank of Angel Island and immediately southeast of the Albemarle Silver Peak lithium brine mine. Cypress has also acquired a 100% interest in the 1,780-acre Alkali Valley lithium brine project, also in Esmeralda County, which covers the central and northeast portions of the bottom of the Alkali Lake Playa and is contiguous with claims of Dajin Resources Alkali Lake Project. Dajin Resources Corp. [DJI-TSXV; DJIFF-OTC; C2U-FSE] has staked 191 placer claims totaling 3,851 acres in Alkali Lake, Esmeralda County, Nevada, 12 km from the Albemarle lithium mine. The company also staked 215 placer claims on a desert playa known as Teels Marsh in Mineral County, Nevada. This is a poten- tial brine-based lithium target. Dajin also holds a 100% interest in 25 mineral concessions covering 100,000 hectares in northwest Argentina within the 'Lithium Triangle' which is reported to con- tain in excess of 80% of the world's supply of lithium. International Lithium Corp. [ILC-TSXV] has acquired the Raleigh lithium prospect 20 km west of Ignace, northwest Ontario. The company has farmed out an 80% interest in the Mavis lithium property to Pioneer Resources [PIO-ASX]. Lithium X energy Corp. [LIX-TSXV] has acquired a 100% interest in the CVL lithium property (477 placer claims), located in Nevada's Clayton Valley. Consideration is US $350,000 and 4 million shares. The vendor retains a 2% NSR royalty. The company also has an option to acquire a 100% interest in the NSP lithium claims in the Clayton Valley. nemaska Lithium Inc. [NMX-TSXV; NMKEF-OTCQX] reports construction of its Phase 1 lithium hydroxide plant in Shawinigan, Quebec is expected to start Q1 2016 and be completed during Q4 2016. The Phase 1 plant is designed to produce 500 tonnes per year of high-purity lithium hydroxide. (See Nemaska article in Resource World Feb-Mar 2016) nevada sunrise Gold Corp. [NEV-TSXV; NVSGF-OTC] has signed an option to purchase a 100% interest in the Atlantis lith- ium property in the Fish Lake Valley, Esmeralda County, Nevada. Atlantis comprises unpatented placer claims totaling 2,900 acres about 25 miles northwest of the Silver Peak lithium brine mine. Prima Diamond Corp. [PMD-TSXV] has agreed to acquire a 100% interest in the Green Energy lithium property in Grand County, Utah, from Mesa exploration Corp. and Zimtu Capital Corp. [ZC-TSXV]. The Green Energy lithium property covers 4,160 acres and is 15 km west of Moab. The property exists over an exten- sive area with historic fluid analysis assays ranging from 81 to 1,700 milligram/litre lithium in saturated brines. ultra Lithium Inc. [ULI-TSXV] can buy a 100% interest in the Rock tech Lithium Inc. [RCK-TSXV; RCKTF-OTC; RJIA-Frankfurt] Georgia Lake lithium project in northwest Ontario for $750,000 cash and $750,000 in shares. Rock Tech's NI 43-101 reports states an indicated resource of 3.19 million tonnes at 1.10% Li 2 O and an inferred resource of 6.31 million tonnes at 1.00% Li 2 O based on over 12,000 metres of diamond drilling and channel sampling. Ultra lithium also holds a 100% interest in the Big Smoky Valley lithium brine project 16 miles north of Albemarle's Silver Peak Mine. Lithium Americas Corp. [LAC-TSX] has changed its name from Western Lithium USA Corp., is developing its Caurchari-Olaroz, Argentina and Kings Valley, Nevada lithium projects into sources of high quality lithium carbonate. Zimtu Capital Corp. [ZC-TSXV; ZCT1-FSE] and two of its prospecting partners have signed a property purchase agreement whereby 92 Resources Corp. [NTY-TSXV; R9G2-FSE] can acquire a 100% interest in the Hidden Lake lithium property 40 km northeast of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. The property is prospective for spodumene-bearing lithium pegmatites. Seven samples graded between1.37 and 3.01% Li 2 O. Fieldwork will start when weather conditions permit.
