[NNN-TSXV] has released the results of initial drilling on its 100%-owned Tyko nickel-copper- platinum-group-element project near Marathon, northwestern Ontario. All four holes intersected nickel and PGE (platinum + palladium) mineralization starting at shallow depths. Drill hole TK-16-002 intersected 1.04% nickel over 16.19 metres from 77.65 to 93.84 metres downhole. This interval also included 0.23% copper, 0.28 g/t PGEs. This interval is almost four times the mineralization length of historic hole TK-06-001 that returned 1.09% nickel over 4.15 metres and almost three times the mineralization length of historic hole TK-06-005 that returned 1.05% nickel over 6.20 metres. Nickel One's President and CEO, Vance Loeber, said, "Assays from the initial four holes from the recent drilling program on the RJ Zone at the Tyko property show- case considerable potential for the project. A new magma conduit model, developed by Fladgate Exploration Consulting, was tested at RJ. Initial results support this model which potentially links the RJ and Tyko zones (separated by 1.5 km) as part of pipe-like feeder system." The RJ Zone consists primarily of meta- morphosed mineralized pyroxenite which has been intruded by later granitoid rocks. The mineralized pyroxenite contains abun- dant rip-up clasts of other mafic-ultramafic phases and clastic sediments indicative of an active feeder-type system. The min- eralization is nickel-rich with an average nickel-to-copper ratio of about 2 to 1 and a platinum-to-palladium ratio of about 1 to 1. Sulphides are typically disseminated to blebby with local patches of net-textured and semi-massive sulphide breccia. The sulphide tenors of the Ni-Cu-PGE mineralization on the Tyko property are very high. Limited analysis by previous workers indicates tenors in 100% sulphide that average 13.0% nickel, 8.8% cop- per and 6.6 g/t PGE (Pt plus Pd) at the RJ Zone, and 12.9% nickel, 14.5% cop- per and 13.6 g/t PGE at the Tyko Zone. Additional analysis is currently under way to better define the sulphide tenors of the various magmatic phases. The high tenor of the sulphide suggests a high-value flotation concentrate from RJ or Tyko-style mineralization. This indi- cates that even a disseminated sulphide deposit could potentially be economic and adds further support to the view that the Tyko Project contains a fertile magmatic feeder system. The company's objective is to delineate this feeder system and ulti- mately develop a mineral resource on the property. The current updates include interim results from an initial 580 metres of drill- ing in four holes out of a total of 1,780 metres in 14 holes on the 2016 drilling program that targeted the RJ and Tyko zones. A third target, termed the Bruce Lake anomaly, was also tested with results pending. rEvElo rEsourcEs MakEs nEw gold- silvEr discovEry at loro projEct Revelo Resources Corp. [RVL-TSXV] has delineated a new system of quartz veins and hydrothermal breccias that are related to a precious metal-bearing, epithermal vein system extending over about 3 km in an approximately north-south direction, at its 100%-owned Loro Project in northern Chile. The project is located along trend and 25 km south of the multi-million ounce series of precious metals veins of the El Peñon mining camp owned and oper- ated by Yamana Gold. Key aspects of the discovery include: • Several narrow (~20 cm), sub-parallel, low sulphidation quartz veins defined by in-situ quartz veins, hydrothermal brec- cias, and linear trends of float blocks, extending over approximately 3 km • Rock-chip samples from sporadic out- crops range from zero to 2.34 g/t gold and from zero to 89.2 g/t silver • The mineralized structures follow a north-south to north-northeast trend, in alignment with regional structures • Key pathfinder elements in rock-chips such as arsenic (low to 293 ppm) and antimony (low to 336 ppm), together with silver values, suggest the outcrops represent the typical upper, relatively un-eroded portions of an epithermal pre- cious-metals bearing system • Geological mapping, rock-chip geochem- istry and soil geochemistry suggest at least two sub-parallel belts of mineralized struc- tures within the overall trend Tim Beale, President and CEO of Revelo, said, "Revelo has been carrying out basic exploration focused on geological and hydrothermal alteration mapping, and rock and soil geochemistry, on several of its projects, including Loro. The Loro Project shows no physical signs of having been explored historically, and so can be classified as a new discovery.
