Apex plans to explore the properties with helicopter assisted prospecting, reconnaissance map- ping and geochemical surveys. OK2 Minerals [OK-TSXV], formerly Gold Jubilee Capital, completed a Phase I exploration program on its Pyramid property near Dease Lake. Mapping and sampling on the West and East Zones revealed zoned alteration typical of por- phyry copper-gold and epithermal gold deposits respectively. Regional work led to the discovery of two new zones: the Chili Zone and Zone 37. The company has begun a 5-10 hole, reverse circulation drill program on the West Zone. Assays are pending. The company also acquired an option to earn a 100% interest in two other proper- ties dubbed the VMS Block and the Golden Mickey Block at the southern end of the Golden Triangle. The VMS block adjoins the OK2's Kinskuch property to the south. The targets for these claims are copper- gold porphyries as well as volcanogenic massive sulphides and epithermal gold. Metallis Resources [MTS-TSXV] com- pleted an airborne geophysical survey on its 10,600-hectare Kirkham property in the Golden Triangle. Results of the current survey should be released after technical analysis is complete. This survey should help prioritize targets for a drill program. Jaxon Minerals [JAX-TSXV] is explor- ing its 50%-optioned, 3,634-hectare, Hot Bath copper-gold prospect between Dease Lake and Iskut where several rocks sam- pled returned over 3% copper. Dolly Varden Silver Corp. [DV-TSXV; DOLLF-OTC] has reported assays from its 2,311.6-metre drilling program on the past-producing Dolly Varden Project in the Upper Kitsault Valley. Multiple min- eral zones were intersected that included 2,488.5 g/t silver over 2.0 metres within a wider intercept of 485 g/t silver over 19.4 metres. n www.eskaymining.com • macbalkam@aol.com Searching for Eskay II Over 135,000 Acres in the Heart of the Golden Triangle M I N I N G C O R P E S K - T S X - V E N T U R E
