[ZC-TSXV; ZCT1-FSE] could be viewed as an umbrella company in that it has invested in or brought projects to over 30 junior companies. David Hodge, President, told Resource World, "Zimtu is listed as an investment issuer. We are involved in opportunity gen- eration and have staking partners whereby we claim ground anywhere in the world on a 50/50 basis with geologists and/or prospectors. Then Zimtu will take that property to the marketplace and market it to other TSX or CSE-listed juniors." The companies in which Zimtu has invested include new resource issuers as well as private and seed-level companies exploring for a variety of metals and min- erals. These include rare earths, copper, gold, magnesium, uranium, industrial minerals, jade, nickel, scandium, zeolite, lithium, platinum group metals, silicon, potash and diamonds. "What Zimtu looks for in another com- pany is good management, said Hodge, "because if you have good management and the wrong property, good manage- ment will find the right property; but if you have the right property with bad man- agement, you're in trouble." The following updates are from a few companies in which Zimtu has invested. Commerce Resources Corp. [CCE- TSXV; D7H-FSE; CMRZF-OTCQX], completed resource definition drilling, environmental baseline data collection and hydrogeologi- cal testwork for the 2016 field program at its 100%-owned Ashram rare earth deposit in northern Québec. The data collected will be used to gen- erate a preliminary hydrogeological model for the deposit and immediate area, suffi- cient for the purposes of the Pre-feasibility Study (PFS). With the three main field objectives now completed, drill core pro- cessing and sample collection for analysis are the next steps. Copper North Mining Corp. [COL- TSXV] released drilling results on its Thor property in northwest British Columbia. Drill hole TH16-01, in the Thor East target area, intersected porphyry copper-gold mineralization. Drill hole TH16-01, which returned 0.28% copper over 23.85 metres within a broader intercept of 0.14% copper over 107.60 metres, may flank a mineralized porphyry centre. Dr. Harlan Meade, President and CEO, said, "The large area of porphyry altera- tion and gossan zones remain an attractive exploration target. The Thor Project is 20 km south of the Kemess South Mine and mill complex." Copper North's assets also include the Carmacks Project, Yukon and the Redstone property, Northwest Territories. Voltaic Minerals Corp. [VLT-TSXV] has recently signed an MOU with Enertrex Corp. to commence process development and optimization of the Green Energy Projects' supersaturated lithium brine. Joint efforts from Voltaic and Enertrex to achieve commercialization of the "Lithium Selective" technique, developed by Enertrex Corp., will potentially revolution- ize lithium brine processing techniques and unlock global brine reserves high in impurities that traditional methods cannot feasibly process. 92 Resources Corp. [NTY-TSXV; R9G2- FSE] completed its summer program at the 100%-owned Hidden Lake lithium prop- erty, Northwest Territories 40 km east of Yellowknife. Channel sampling of newly discov- ered Pegmatites HL1, HL3, and HL4 has been completed with all three pegmatites containing appreciable amounts of spodu- mene. Samples for the LU DU12 pegmatite returned 1.53% lithium oxide (Li 2 O) over 11.58 metres, including 1.90% Li 2 O over 9.02 metres. A total of 52 samples returned over 1.00% Li 2 O, with 34 samples over 1.50% Li 2 O up to 3.08% Li 2 O. Samples averaged 88 ppm tantalum pentoxide (Ta 2 O 5 ) up to 596 ppm. King's Bay Gold Corp. [KBG-TSXV] has agreed to acquire for cash and shares a 100% interest in a cobalt property in southern Labrador. The 20 km 2 property is located 100 km southeast of Happy Valley-Goose Bay and has been virtually unexplored. In 2009, local prospectors collected grab samples that assayed up to 1.39% copper, 0.94% cobalt, 0.21% nickel and 6.5 g/t sil- ver. Mag and EM geophysical surveys have identified strong conductors beneath the overburden. More sampling in 2015 yielded equally encouraging values, including 1.03% copper, 0.556% cobalt, 0.1% nickel, 5.0 g/t silver and 0.36% chromium. King's Bay has deployed a team to carry out map- ping, more sampling and geophysics. n miNiN g
