The portal will serve as the primary access point to con- vey the gold ore from the underground crusher to the mill. Underground development is on sched- ule and crews are advancing at over 30 metres per day. Underground work is focused on continued ramp and level devel- opment with seven mining stopes now accessible. About 30,000 tonnes of ore have been stockpiled in preparation for mill com- missioning expected to start mid-2017. TMAC RESOURCES INC. TMAC Resources Inc. [TMR-TSX] is build- ing the ramp-access, underground Doris gold mine at the 100%-owned Hope Bay Project located 65 km east of Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut, northern Canada. In November 2016, the Nunavut Water Board (NWB) issued TMAC's amended Type A Water Licence for Doris to the Honourable Dr. Caroline Bennett, Minister for Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada for review and signature. Upon receipt of the Minister's signature the amended licence supports an extended mine life (from approximately 1.5 years to the current reserve life of six years) at the Doris mine. The objective for 2017 is to achieve a steady state of production of 1,000 tonnes per day. For 2018, the goal is to ramp up production to 2,000 tonnes per day and retire debt. The project has four deposits: Doris, Madrid North, Madrid South and Boston. Total proven and probable mineral reserves stand at 14,191,000 tonnes grading 7.7 g/t gold, for 3,507,000 ounces of gold. Mine life will be 20 years with an average annual gold production of 183,000 ounces. Life-of-mine all-in sustained costs will be US $785/oz. After-tax payback period is 1.7 years. After-tax NPV (5% discount) is $626 million with an after-tax IRR of 40%. AMERICAS SILVER CORP. Americas Silver Corp.
