The company's other nearby dis- coveries include the Deepwater Fox (not underwater) and the Fox Meadow. Recent pilot plant processing of over 3.0 tonnes of material representative of the Foxtrot deposit was successful and demonstrated the ability to produce a high purity mixed rare earth oxide (REO) concentrate. In addition, the pilot plant testing successfully demonstrated the ability to bring uranium, thorium, zinc, and iron levels below those thresholds expected by refineries that separate mixed REO concentrates into individual rare earth elements (REEs). The company continues to seek strate- gic and offtake partners to further advance Foxtrot and develop the district. Search Minerals is finalizing the commercial appli- cation of its proprietary Direct Extraction metallurgy process with the completion of the demonstration plant, which will pro- vide the company with a mixed rare earth concentrate, to be provided to refineries for testing and further separation. Stratabound Minerals Corp. [SB-TSXV] has farmed out an 80% interest in its Taylor Brook zinc-lead-copper-silver property to Bandera Gold Ltd. [BGL- TSXV]. The NI 43-101 historical resource estimates (Wardrop/TetraTech, 2011) at a cut-off grade of 1.6% zinc equivalent are indicated resources of 243,000 tonnes at 1.69% zinc, 0.8% lead, 0.02% copper and 33.42 g/t silver; inferred resources of 102,000 tonnes at 1.7% zinc, 0.87% lead, 0.02% copper and 32.59 g/t silver. Trevali Mining Corp. [TV-TSX; TREVF-OTCQX; 4TI-FSE] is producing zinc and lead-silver concentrates from its 3,000 tonne-per-day Caribou Mine in the Bathurst Mining Camp of northern New Brunswick. In Q4 2016, Caribou produced a record 20.9 million pounds of payable zinc, 8.2 million payable pounds of lead and 231,722 payable ounces of silver. The preliminary 2017 production guidance estimate for the Caribou Mine is: 90-93 million pounds of payable zinc in con- centrate; 30-32 million pounds of payable lead in concentrate; and 800,000-900,000 ounces of payable silver. Cash costs for 2017 are estimated at approximately US $55-60 per tonne milled. The company also owns the Halfmile and Stratmat base metal deposits in New Brunswick that are undergoing a Preliminary Economic Assessment. Trinity Resources Ltd. operates a world class pyrophyllite mine just outside of Saint John's Newfoundland, supply- ing one of the brightest aluminum silicate products to various industries worldwide. Vale S.A. [VALE-NYSE] owns and oper- ates the Voisey's Bay nickel-cobalt mine 30 km southwest of Nain, Labrador. In pro- duction since 2005, there is enough ore from four main deposits to last until 2022. As of year-end 2014, proven and probable reserves were 14.7 million tonnes grading 2.37% nickel. n 103-4401 Bristol Rd., Terrace BC | (250) 635-2659 | www.yxt.ca C A P A C I T Y • C O N N E C T I O N S • R E L I A B I L I T Y • S A F E T Y Capacity Executive board room, full service restaurant and vehicle rentals (National, Hertz, Budget & Driving Force) Connections Connections to Vancouver, Calgary, Prince George, Bob Quinn and Dease Lake with unrestricted aircraft accommodation including 757, 737 and 767 Reliability A state of the art instrument landing system upgraded in 2015 allowing for 99.7% reliability of scheduled fl ight completion Safety Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Meziadin Junction 2 hrs 30 mins Port Edward 1 hr 30 mins Kitimat 35 mins Terrace 15 mins JUST A SHORT DRIVE AWAY GET CONNECTED THROUGH THE NORTHWEST REGIONAL AIRPORT 604.581.2827 www.thornleycreative.com 170057_Ad-Minerals Exp.
