[BBB-TSXV] is getting organized for another field season of exploration on its 100%-owned Thorn Project 120 km northwest of Telegraph Creek, northwest British Columbia and approximately 105 km east-northeast of Juneau, Alaska. Inferred resources in the Oban, Talisker and Glennfiddich zones total 7.4 M tonnes of 35.54 g/t silver, 0.51 g/t gold, 0.13% copper, 0.32% lead and 0.59% zinc. Refer to map opposite page. During 2016, the company spent $1,668,622 on exploration when it defined the large scale Chivas gold target by geo- logical mapping, soil geochemistry and IP geophysics. It has never been drilled. Gary Thompson, Chairman and CEO, told Resource World, "The focus at the Thorn Project for 2017 will be drilling the Chivas and Outlaw zone gold targets. Exploration plans include 5,000 to 20,000 metres of drilling, geological mapping, soil- rock-water geochemical surveys and initial metallurgical work." Thompson added that drilling at the Outlaw Zone during 2016 confirmed gold mineralization along a 450-metre strike within a 5 km 2 gold-in-soil anomaly. The best drill intercept at the Outlaw Zone is ~60 metres of 1.15 g/t gold and the best surface rock sample returned 22.5 g/t gold. The Chivas gold zone was defined in 2016 through soils and rock samples, IP geophysics and geological mapping. The Chivas anomaly is greater than 7 km 2 as defined by the gold geochemical and geo- physical signature. In a separate development, Brixton has acquired mineral lands in the prospective Atlin gold camp of far northwest BC, about 130 km from the Thorn Project. The claims cover approximately 55,474 hectares (555 km 2 ) over favourable geology. The com- pany staked 33 claims that cover 53,815 hectares (538 km 2 ) and also acquired 100% interest in four mineral claims that cover 445 hectares (4.45 km 2 ) and signed an option agreement to acquire 100% inter- est in nine mineral claims that cover 1,214 hectares (12 km 2 ). The Atlin gold camp represents one of the largest producers of placer gold in British Columbia. Government geologists recognize that at least some of the placer gold may be related to the Surprise Lake batholith. While over 600,000 ounces of gold was reportedly recovered from placer mining, very limited exploration has been conducted in locating the hard rock source of the Atlin gold. Brixton's extensive land position cov- ers both the Surprise Lake batholith and favourable sedimentary rocks of the Cache Creek terrane. The company's plan is to con- duct regional exploration work to generate drill targets within this early stage district scale gold play. Brixton is also exploring the past-produc- ing Langis Mine Project in the cobalt-silver mining camp of northeast Ontario. "We are proposing to conduct 30,000 metres explo- ration drilling at the Langis Project in 2017, subject to funding," said Thompson. n
