Arizona Silver Exploration Inc. [AZS- TSXV], formerly Damon Capital Corp., announced in April, assay results of up to 877 g/t silver from rock sampling along the Creosote Vein at their Ramsey silver project in La Paz County, Arizona. The company obtained approval from the BLM for its Notice of Intent and reclamation bond amount to drill eight exploration holes at the project. Barrick Gold Corp. [ABX-TSX, NYSE] has operations around the world including three mines in Nevada: Cortez (1,059,000 oz 2016), Turquoise Ridge (266,000 oz 2016), and Goldstrike (1,053,000 oz 2016) and the Golden Sunlight Mine (34,000 oz 2016) in Montana. Barrick produced 5,517,000 oz last year total with 2,412,000 of those oz coming from its Western USA mines. Belmont Resources Inc. [BEA-TSXV; L3L1-FSE] signed an agreement with Zimtu Capital Corp. to acquire 2,560 acres of a lithium property located in Kibby Basin, 65 km north of Clayton Valley, Nevada. Belmont also staked additional placer mineral claims increasing the Kibby Basin land position to 6,820 acres.
