Upon completion of this work, Silver Spruce plans to complete a NI 43-101 compliant resource report on the property. The project has not been fully explored and the known deposits are open down dip and potentially along strike. Silver Spruce recently staked an additional 400 acres of unpatented claims in the area. Stakeholder Gold Corp. [SRC-TSXV] has entered into a property option agree- ment by which Stakeholder Gold can earn up to 100% interest in Mountain View Gold Inc.'s Goldstorm property located in the Snowstorm Mountains Mining District in the western part of Elko County, Nevada on the Midas gold trend in Elko. The prop- erty lies close to the +3 M oz Midas Mine, one of the world's highest grade and most profitable gold-silver mines. The property is the subject of a 2017 NI 43-101 Technical Report that states that, "Fifty-three explo- ration holes have been drilled into the property by third party companies, with only three core holes drilled to date." Thunder Mountain Gold Inc. [THM- TSXV; THMG-OTCQB]. owns 100% of the South Mountain gold mine project in Owyhee, Idaho. April 24, 2017, the com- pany announced that they have selected SRK Consulting (US), Inc. to complete a Preliminary Economic Analysis on the company`s South Mountain Project. The company also has the Trout Creek Project in Lander County, Nevada. TriMetals Mining Inc. [TMI-TSX; TMIAF-OTCQX] is focused on explor- ing their Gold Springs gold-silver project that straddles the Nevada-Utah border. On March 29, 2017, TriMetals announced the completion of an updated pit-constrained resource estimate for the Jumbo Trend, the Grey Eagle Zone and the Thor Zone at the project. The average reported mea- sured and indicated gold grade in the 2017 pit-constrained resource is now 0.55 g/t compared to 0.45 g/t in the 2015 resource and M&I gold oz have increased by 22% to 527,687 oz compared to the 2015 resource even though the 2017 resource is constrained by a higher cutoff grade. Voltaic Minerals Corp. [VLT-TSXV; 2P61-FFSE] has the Green Energy lithium property in Grand County west of Moab, southeastern Utah. Lithium Selective Technologies, Inc. (LiST) has begun test- ing brine solutions from the property at their facility in northern California. Voltaic is "incorporating selective techniques used commercially in mineral extraction and water treatment in a novel fashion to achieve a result not yet seen in the lithium process sector." The company states that LiST and Voltaic are waiting for addi- tional technical data to be able to finalize a definitive agreement to "utilize the process worldwide on non-conventional brines". n WESTERN US continued from page 22
