NICO was assessed with a positive Feasibility Study in 2014. This study is being updated to assess economics for the project at current commodity price and exchange rates, plus capital and operating costs. NICO has already received environ- mental assessment and the major mine permits to construct the mine. Project financing is underway. Giga Metals Corp. [GIGA-TSXV], for- merly Hard Creek Nickel, is developing the Turnagain nickel deposit, a nickel- sulphide deposit in north-central BC. A Preliminary Economic Assessment com- pleted in October 2011 models initial production of 52 million lb nickel, 2.8 mil- lion lb cobalt per year. Production ramps up in year six to 97 million lb nickel plus 5.3 million lb cobalt per year for 16 years. Global Energy Metals Corp. [GEMC- TSXV; 5GE1-FSE] owns and is advancing the Werner Lake cobalt mine near Kenora, Ontario. The company has also entered into an agreement to earn-in to the Millennium cobalt project in Mt. Isa, Australia. Global Energy recently completed a NI 43-101 resource report for Werner Lake confirming indicated resources of 0.51% Co (57,900 tonnes) and inferred resources of 0.48% Co (6,300 tonnes) at a 0.25% cut-off. The company believes there is poten- tial to increase tonnage and is considering additional infill drilling at the original mine site and at the West Cobalt deposit, which remains open at depth and along strike. Global Energy is also seeking per- mits to dewater the historic underground workings and attempt to access those workings to collect a bulk sample to com- plete metallurgical testing. Kings Bay Resources Corp. [KBG- TSXV; KGB1-FSE] has two cobalt projects – the Lynx Lake property in southern Labrador and the Ninuk Lake Project 175 km northeast of Umiujag, Québec. The Lynx Lake property has histori- cal grab samples ranging up to 1.39% Cu, 0.94% Co, 0.21% Ni , 6.5 g/t Ag and 0.23% V. Samples from the western side of the property yielded 1.03% Cu, 0.566% Co, 0.1% Ni and 5.0 g/t Ag. Molybdenite and bismuth were also discovered in the western mineralized area yielding 0.392% Mo and 112 ppm Bi. Historic hand held EM surveys indicate strong conduc- tors present, suggesting the potential for copper-cobalt-nickel or iron oxide copper- gold type deposits. The Nikuk cobalt project had historical exploration of surface sampling, mapping and electromagnetics. Surface sampling of massive sulfide in outcrop yielded up to 2.6% Ni, 1.8% Cu, and 0.27% Co. Kings Bay is reviewing historical data and plans sampling. Lico Energy Metals Inc. [LIC-TSXV; WCTXF-OTCQB; 43W1-FSE] can acquire a 100% interest in the Teledyne property in the District of Temiskaming, Ontario. The project covers 115.5 hectares of min- ing and surface rights, with an additional TSX:FT | OTCQX: FTMDF fortuneminerals.com Investor Contact: 519-858-8188 Ext. 114 CANADIAN COBALT DEVELOPMENT PROJECT • Rechargeable batteries driving cobalt demand • $115 million invested, positive Feasibility Study, test mined, pilot plants completed, and EA approvals • 1.1 M oz gold reserve & ~12% of global bismuth reserves • Working to secure off-take agreements and financing to start construction FortuneAD-September2016_Layout 1 2016-09-20 2:57 PM Page 1 C M Y CM MY CY CMY K pub_nouveau monde finale - ouline.pdf 1 2017-09-25 18:40
