Senator Minerals Inc. [SNR-TSXV;
SNRAF-OTC; T1KA-FSE] has the Patterson
North East (PNE) and the Carter Lake
uranium projects on the west side of the
Athabasca Basin. Senator reported that it
has completed the deployment of Alpha
Track radon gas sensors in an array over the
Carter Lake Conductive Zone; 158 radon gas
cups will be retrieved and assayed.
The PNE Project was explored in 2013
with an Alpha-Track radon cup sur-
vey and in June 2014 with a 5.7-line-km
DC resistivity survey. Results from the
Alpha-Track Radon Cup Survey showed a
correlation with the sub surface conductor.
UEX Corp. [UEX-TSX] has several proj-
ects in the Athabasca Basin: Christie Lake
(30% interest and earning up to 70%),
Hidden Bay, Shea Creek, Horseshoe-Raven
and Black Lake.
Following up on a successful winter drill
program, a 10-hole summer program total-
ing 4,541 metres was conducted to expand
the high-grade
ȼÕrora deposit at Christie
Lake; seven holes encountered uranium
mineralization. UEX will complete a three-
dimensional model of the Paul Bay, Ken
Pen, and
ȼÕrora Deposits in preparation for
a maiden NI-43-101 resource.
OTHER
Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. [EPL-TSXV]
announced on October 23, 2017 their min-
eral properties targeting primarily gold
will be transferred into a new company,
incorporated under the name Taiga Gold
Corp. This includes the Fisher gold prop-
erty adjacent to SSR Mining's Seabee Gold
Operation, the Chico precious-metal prop-
erty and the Orchid gold property, all in
Saskatchewan.
Eagle Plains' 2017 exploration program
at Orchid has indicated similarities to those
seen at SSR Mining's Seabee Gold Operation.
2017 surface exploration at Fisher consisted
of till sampling, soil geochemical sam-
pling, and geological mapping. Prospecting
yielded encouraging results.
Eagle Plains increased the land posi-
tion at its 4,716-hectare Chico project 40
km south of SSR Mining's Seabee Gold
Operation. Aben Resources Ltd. [ABN-
TSXV] can earn an 80% interest in the
