Kinross advanced Rengold US $500,000 to carry out exploration among the three projects for the first year of the agreement. They include the Buffalo Canyon Project where several impressive gold intersections were reported in early December, including 79.2 metres of 0.35 g/t gold. Five reverse circulation drill holes were completed totaling 5,600 feet and were designed to test several targets, both for the lateral and vertical expansion of the mineralization known from prior drilling around the Everson deposit and to explore for higher grade portions of the system. Rye Patch Gold Corp. [RPM-TSXV; RPMGF-OTCQX] is billing itself as Nevada's newest gold producer. Its 100%- owned Florida Canyon gold mine between Lovelock and Winnemucca, has been in production since the spring of 2017. It expects to reach a commercial produc- tion rate from heap leach operations of 75,000 ounces in early 2018. The Florida Canyon property consists of the Florida Canyon Mine and Standard Mine. Prior to the recent restart, Florida Canyon was in production between 1986 to 2011. The Standard Mine operated between 2004 and 2007 and again between 2001 through to the second quarter of 2015. Together both mines have produced in excess of 2.5 mil- lion ounces of gold. Rye Patch acquired the assets from Admiral Financial Group and Jipangu International Inc. through the acquisi- tion of their subsidiary companies after agreeing to pay US $15 million and issue 20 million Rye Patch shares. A further con- tingent payment of US $5 million and 15 million warrants are also payable following the start of commercial production. The warrants are exercisable for one common share of Rye Patch at $0.50 per share. Silver One Resources Inc. [SVE-TSXV; SLVRF-OTC; BRK1-FSE] has an option agreement with SSR Mining Inc. [SSO- TSX, SSR-NASDAQ] to acquire a 100% interest in the past-producing Candelaria Mine, which lies within the Candelaria Mining District, historically the richest silver mining district in Nevada. It previ- ously produced over 69 million ounces of silver. Leaching of the historic pads was not completed, leaving a substan- tial amount of unprocessed silver. The company is currently evaluating various processing alternatives to recover gold and silver contained within the leach pads to better plan future metallurgical testing. Silver Range Resources Ltd. [SNG- TSXV] has 12 exploration projects in Nevada. At Cold Springs on Highway 50, this property hosts low sulphidation, stock- work-hosted, quartz chalcedony veins with surface mineralization returning assays up to 20.1 g/t gold and 1,770 g/t silver with drill ready targets. At the drill-ready Strongbox prospect in Mineral County, there is an intrusive-hosted gold target with widespread surface gold in grab samples up to 27.1 g/t gold, past placer, hard rock NEVADA
