Metals of interest include cobalt, gold, copper, silver and zinc. Soloro is cur- rently in the process of making the company a listed entity on an international scale. The flagship property of Soloro Metals is the 100%-owned Copper Chief- Goodsprings Project that produced high-grade cobalt (ranging up to 20% cobalt) during the 1920s, according to the United States Geological Survey. The 2,400-acre, road-accessible prospect is located in Clark County near the Town of Jean just south of Las Vegas in the historic Goodsprings Mining District. In a preliminary exploration program conducted by Rick Redfern, PGeo., grab samples returned assays grading up to 1.3% cobalt, copper values ranging up 29% and elevated lead-zinc values. It was noted that at least eight past-producing mines are situated on Copper Chief- Goodsprings property. A more definitive exploration program is planned for the near future that would include geophysics to target drill sites that would concentrate on the Copper Chief Mine. Along the Midas-Hollister Gold Trend in northern Nevada, Soloro Metals is also preparing exploration programs on the 100%-owned Rimrock and nearby Pole B gold-silver properties. The Pole B property is situated 10 km northwest of Klondex's producing Midas Mine and the Rimrock property is located just northwest of the Klondex Hollister gold-silver mine. The Rimrock and Pole B properties feature a geological environment similar to the Hollister Mine and the Midas Mine. Past exploration programs by other operators have already pinpointed pro- spective drill sites on both the Rimrock and Pole B properties as well as another nearby 100%-owned property known as Ivanhoe Creek. The Rimrock property has not been tested at depth for Carlin- style gold deposits. Soloro Metals intends to drill-test the deeper Rimrock targets through which the feeder structures for the hot springs may have passed. The company is now compiling geological data in preparation for an upcoming drilling program that is expected to start in the near future. Soloro is currently raising explora- tion funding to finance these programs. In the southwest corner of New Mexico near the Town of Lordsburg, Soloro Metals has a 100% interest in the high-grade gold-silver Rhyolite property where the underground Rhyolite Mine was the most developed mine in the San Jose Mining District. The mine, like many others, was closed during World War II under regula- tion L-208. Assays as high as 59.6 oz/ton gold and 821.6 oz/ton silver were returned from the Pankey vein located 3 miles north of the Rhyolite Mine, which is part of Soloro's land package. Presently, Soloro Metals owns 37 lode mining claims outright, encompassing 763 acres covering the rhyolite mine proper, along with the shear zone intersections that are plainly visible in aerial photographs. These intersections have known miner- alization and, combined with the 100+ foot wide Cordelleria fault zone, provide the company an opportunity to develop a potential shallow-depth, large tonnage, good grade of gold and silver mineraliza- tion. A preliminary exploration program is planned for the property this summer. In the same area near Lordsburg, Soloro Metal also holds two other 100%-owned properties – the Neglected copper-gold project and the Lordsburg gold-silver-cop- per project. These properties, located in an area of past-producing mines, are on the back burner for the time being. The Lordsburg is a potential porphyry gold system. Entrée Gold and Rio Tinto are exploring in the immediate area for large scale porphyry deposits. Rio Tinto's claims are adjacent to Soloro's Lordsburg ground. n A view of one of the old mine workings at Soloro's Copper Chief Mine near the Town of Jean south of Las Vegas, Nevada.
