The company said these new anomalous soil areas are considered immediate high priority drill targets. Below are other companies with strong exposure to zinc. Arizona Mining Inc. [AZ-TSX; WLDVF-OTC] intersected 86 feet assaying 28.6% combined zinc-lead and 3.7 oz/ton silver in an 850-foot step-out hole, opening up an entirely new area to the southwest of the Taylor deposit and highlighting the continued potential for resource growth and increased grades at its 100%-owned Hermosa Project in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. This area is not in the updated Preliminary Economic Assessment. Ascendant Resources Inc. [ASND- TSX; ASDRF-OTCQX; 2D9-FSE] is focused on its 100%-owned producing El Mochito zinc, silver and lead mine in west-central Honduras, which has been in production since 1948. After acquiring the mine in December 2016, Ascendant implemented an optimization program to restore the historic potential of the El Mochito Mine. In 2017, the company com- pleted the operational turnaround it set out to achieve with sustained production at record levels and profitability restored. Ascendant is also expanding and upgrad- ing known resources through exploration. Avrupa Minerals Ltd. [AVU-TSXV; AVPMF-OTC; 8AM-FSE] has signed a non- binding Letter of Intent with a subsidiary of an international mining company to option out three copper-zinc explora- tion projects in the Pyrite Belt of southern Portugal. The funding partner will provide a first stage earn-in amount of $20.3 million for exploration over the next three years to acquire a 51% interest in the projects. The parties are finalizing a definitive agreement. Benz Mining Corp. [BZ-TSXV; 1VU-FSE] is focused on advancing the Mel zinc-lead-barite project in the southeastern Yukon Territory. There are two objectives for its proposed exploration program. The first objective is to increase the resource base through exploration of the northern and southern extensions of the Mel Main Zone and the Jeri and Jeri N targets. An initial phase of 12 to 16 drill holes totaling 3,000 metres is planned to test the strike extensions of the Mel resource. Trenching in 2017 indicated a potential 125-metre northern extension of the Mel Main Zone and an unknown potential for its southern extension. Blue Moon Zinc Corp. [MOON-TSXV; BMOOF-OTC] has a 100% interest in the advanced-stage Blue Moon zinc project in Mariposa County, California. There is a NI 43-101 resource estimate with approxi- mately 3.8 million tons grading 8.3% zinc equivalent for some 377 million pounds of zinc in the indicated category and 4.1 million tons grading 7.8% zinc equivalent ZINC
