Pine Point has 46 undeveloped historical deposits across the property with over 70 million tonnes of historical resources at 4.2% zinc and 1.6% lead. In Bathurst, the company is paying particular attention to the Key Anacon historical deposit, where there is 1.8Mt grading 9.56% zinc+lead in historical resources. Both camps have well developed infrastructure, with access to roads, rail, water and electricity. Currently, the com- pany is drilling a combined 100,000-metre program at both projects, making it one of the largest ongoing drill campaigns in the Canadian junior base metal sector. Pasinex Resources Ltd. [PSE-CSE; PNX- FSE] is the 50% owner of the high-grade, producing Pinargozu zinc mine and, under its DSO Program, is shipping directly to zinc smelter/refiners from its mine site in Turkey. The company recently acquired the Gunman high-grade zinc exploration project in Nevada. Puma Exploration Inc. [PUMA-TSXV, Santiago] has signed a non-binding Letter of Intent with Trevali Mining for a strate- gic alliance to develop the Murray Brook deposit and the exploration of combined mining properties in the Restigouche Armstrong belt region of New Brunswick. Puma recently signed an option agreement for Rio Tinto to buy 100% interest in the Red Brook Project, New Brunswick. Scozinc Mining Ltd. [SZM-TSXV; SWNLF-OTC] has selected Dexter Construction and Dyno Nobel Canada Inc. as the mining and drill/blast contractors, respectively, for the restart of operations at the 100%-owned ScoZinc Mine near Halifax, Nova Scotia. The mine would have an eight-year life. Solitario Zinc Corp. [SLR-TSX; XPL- NYSE American] announced its 2018 work program, additional property acquisitions and newly defined exploration opportu- nities on its Florida Canyon zinc project in Peru. Florida Canyon is held in a joint venture between Solitario (39%) and Nexa Resources [NEXA-TSX, NYSE] (61%). Highlights of the program include comple- tion of the access road into the mineralized portion of the project area and permitting that will allow new underground tunnel- ing, surface drilling and other activities. Sphinx Resources Ltd. [SFX-TSXV] and SOQUEM reported hole CS-18-07 returned 6.6% zinc over 1.4 metres within a strati- form and shallow-dipping mineralized horizon that graded 3.0% zinc over a 6.8 metre from their recently completed dia- mond drilling program on the Calumet-Sud zinc project in Québec. This hole follows the announcement of the results of hole CS-18-06 that returned 9.0% zinc over 1 metre within the same mineralized horizon that graded 3.1% zinc over a 6.4-metre length beginning at a depth of 15.6 metres.
